Refusal of immigration aplication

My nephew got rejected of immigration aplication in 2010. The reason was not sure. Probably the officer didnt believe his related job document is true, the one he submitted . Now he is afraid to reapply again after 9 years. Any advice on the matter please.

The refusal reason must have been clearly stated on the refusal letter. It is important to know the reason for the refusal in order to prepare the future application. If he lost his refusal letter, you can help him apply for a GCMS notes to try to find out the reason for the refusal (you must have legal status in Canada to apply for one).
