Which processing center, it was urgent?

Gatineau. Non-urgent.

The form I filled out had only the Ottawa address. I didn’t see any Gatineau address on it.

I applied for my RTD (Refugee Travel Document) back in February, but I’m still waiting. I even had to extend my travel plans by a month and pay an extra $300 to change my flight, just in case. At this point, I have no idea if I’ll get it before my next flight—the agents keep saying they don’t even see my application in the system.

Meanwhile, two of my friends who applied in March already got their RTDs within just a month, even though they don’t have any immediate travel plans. It’s frustrating how inconsistent the process is.

Same with me. I keep pushing back my trip and nothing and when I message them they keep saying wait

Alright! I called them and they said that your 20 business days will finish around 17th May so if you don’t receive a decision or update by then, call us again but it’s still in process. Can other people let me know how long it’s taking? I have to travel somewhere urgently and I want to know the average processing time nowadays based on your experiences

How long did it take. I applied March 24... and nothing as yet

So I mailed my application along with my parents on the 7th of April and it was delivered to them on the 8th. The applications were entered in their system on the 16th of April. I called and requested urgent processing for my application and they said it was applied to my mothers too (idk how though) however hers is still in process as of today. I called on Tuesday May 13th and they said it was approved and sent on Monday 12th May and I received it today. So even though my mom and I applied together, mine was approved on Monday and hers is still processing. I think it really depends from officer to officer. Did you ask if yours is in their system??
