refugee ( family+ country persecution) concern

Hello hope you guys are fine and enjoying summer.

my concern is 12 years ago i applied for refugee as a gay person on basis of future persecution by my family members and country ( muslim country) and now i am citizens since 4 years . recently my family especially mom and dad are talking to me now that they are old and our relationship shifted to better although we always avoid to discuss about my sexual orientation.

actually i also visited them after citizenship in country of origin .

will it affect my citizenship if my parents wish to visit me in Canada though they have the means to apply for a visitor visa by the way they got schengen europeans visas easily . i am not sponsoring then because of the basis of my refugee application based on future persecution of my family members .

i am feeling very sick lately and they want to come to see me

Sure, they can try to get a TRV.

Things change. While family may have been the basis of claim, I'd think your home country (that allows that type of persecution) is a bigger issue. I doubt their chances of receiving a TRV is any more or less difficult than anyone else.

Not given the timeframe. Not sure why you are worried about this given you also returned to your home country which would technically be a lot more risky than having your parents visit you in Canada. As long as you were actually honest in your asylum application you should not be worried about misrepresentation.

sure i was honest . i know that one cam visit hia home country after citizenship because situations change but i have no idea how it works in regards with family , groups , members of a group etc
