Refugee/asylum claimants 2024 timelines

I figured I've been lurking here long enough. I'd contribute my timeline here and hope that will ease the anxiety of some people:
Jan. 2024 Claim submitted
Jan. 2024 IRCC required additional document
Feb. 2024 Additional document submitted and AOC and notice of interview issued within 24 hours.
Mar. 2024 Attended the interview and received brown paper and work permit valid for 2 years on spot.
Sep. 2025 Notified by my lawyer that the hearting is set in Dec. 2025
Waiting and preparing for the hearing.
I am located in Western Canada.
I have a friend who lives in Toronto and submitted her claim in 2023. She is still waiting for a hearing date. I also know somebody in Montreal who got his claim approved without a hearing a couple months after he submitted his claim in 2024. So please don't panic if you haven't heard anything. Thing are not normal for everyone now.

Do you know how long it typically takes to get a regular hearing? What is the timeline for claimants in late 2024?

Could be another year or two for a hearing.
