REFERENCE LETTER FROM PREVIOUS EMPLOYER

HI EVERYONE,
After I got my Work permit , I worked for a NPO for 8 months, that job was a C - category job.

CIC asks for previous 3 years ref letters under CEC. I wont be able to get it for sure.. because management and board of directors of that company have changed and new board does not even know me. It's gonna take lots of efforts and time to get that thing from them.

Is it necessary to include that letter even if it was a Skill - C job when I dont even wanna claim that job as experience ?

AND

If it is still necessary and I can't get it , what should I do ?

Yes, you are supposed to submit the letter. Per the instructions on the document checklist, if you cannot get a required document, submit a written explanation. You can get a copy of your record of employment to submit with it. And then, don't sweat it
