Hi guys,

I have a question regarding work experience and reference letter. I have 4 years of total work experience, 2 years in India and 2 years in USA. I have gotten the reference letter from US, but have been having issues with getting 2 letters from India, as the clinic I was working for has closed down. I tried reaching out to the supervisor there, but they said they cannot get me an updated reference letter. I have the old reference letters they provided but don't actually meet the criteria as it doesn't mention my working hours or salary.

So, I am not sure if I should add the old ones or just remove that work experience from my application completely? Also, if I did, do I change the number of years of work experience?

Can anyone help me with this? TIA!!!

If you cannot receive any kind of proof like a salary slip / signed HR letter / direct supervisor letter with contact information, I feel it is best to not include this job in your profile. Worst case scenario it might raise red flags and cause your profile to be invalidated. In this case you have to reduce your years of experience.

If you really need this job for points then I guess you might have to include a detailed explanation letter as to why you cannot submit supporting documents for this job and the efforts you took to obtain the same.
