Hi,

My mom was here on Super visa for 1.5 years and gone to India 3 months earlier. Now she is coming back to Canada next month or so. Then I am wondering do we need to take the Travel Insurance for her again like the one she had when she came earlier.

Thanks

YES.

If she is very lucky, the POE officer may not check it.
By default, they will want to see a medical insurance valid for at least a year upon each entry. Otherwise, she may be denied entry.

Apart from all these, God forbids, if she needs emergency medical service in Canada while she is here; do you have any idea how much it may cost you? Just one visit to a hospital's emergency normally costs around $400-$500. This will add up with lab tests.
