They are going to invite more French speaking applicants, they are planing to conduct some immigration programs in France, that means priority is fir French speakers
problem is there are no more french speaking candidates. Ontario has been inviting them every week. Even for new ones, I don't see a reason to apply for Quebec where it will take 12 months for CSQ + 18 months for PR application. They can instead go for Ontario or NB and finish the process in 6 months or less. (and in the event they love Quebec so much, nothing will stop them from moving into that province after they land in Canada)

Agree. Also with the current xenophobic government in Quebec there will be lot of movement of skilled migrants from here to other provinces. Majority of Quebecois like to suck up to French without caring about anything else. A bit of pre-historic mindset here. I also plan to move out asap and don't intend to apply for csq so that EE is smooth

12 months is what they were claiming when the new Arrima system was published. Looking back at what they are producing I highly doubt it though
They are not going to complete it in that time

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
They have been conducting these programs for many years now. Nothing new in that. The focus of new government besides 20% reduction is French immersion. Quebec is going to be the toughest province for immigration. Locals here are also in huge favour of new government. It's xenophobia to the fullest
it is respect about their culture, there are many people who arrive and they do not want to learn french. ARRIMA will give them chance to people who knows french or have job offer, why?, they have around 10.000 dossier in backlog probably the most of them only with english, why do choose somebody now without french backlog?

Culture and skills shortage don't go together. A French speaking rookie or a skilled English speaker who's mastering French gradually is what Quebec should have concentrated on. This is how Hitler started. False nationalism and race superiority based on linguistics can only stir extreme xenophobia. Blaming migrants for your incapabilities is stirring empty cup, unfortunately.

Yes totally agreed.. If so y they said French is not compulsory.. If it is we even don't waste our time n money.. Culture is totally different from skilled shortage. People who applied here going to serve them too..not only for us
This is really dissatisfied situation..
