Recruitment Agencies & Work Experience Proof

Hello,

I have been in my current job for over a year (June 2018) but for 3 months of that I was technically temporary as I was employed through an agency and then was kept on as permanent by the company.

Will I need to be put these are separate lines on my application?
Will I also need 2 reference letters even though it's been for the exact same job.

I'm worried this will discredit my year of skilled employment.

But in fact, since you had 2 different employers, you will need to treat it as 2 jobs in your application.

Yes

Will I also need 2 reference letters even though it's been for the exact same job.
Yes, you need a letter from each employer.

I'm worried this will discredit my year of skilled employment.
Why? As long as you properly document it, it is the same as any work experience. Lots of people get approved with agency experience.
