Hi,

In my citizenship application I showed myself as a home maker. However, technically speaking I get a monthly salary from my husband's company even though I dont work 9 to 5 or on regular basis and I do get a T4 at year end. The application was submitted about an year ago.

Now I have received a general 4 page Residence Questionnaire which many applicants seem to be receiving these days.

I am not sure how to correct the employment mistake now.

Should I still show myself as a home maker?
If I make the correction, how will I account for the discrepancy between the citizenship application and the questionnaire?

Thanks,

you can respond to RQ with details and also send a letter correcting the information. It should not matter much as long as you are paying Taxes and filing tax returns.

RQ is not for wrong information. RQ is to prove that you have stayed in Canada to meet the residency obligation.
