Dear All
I received my passport and CoPR. I intend to land this weekend. I live in Toronto. In the letter sent by CIC, there were 2 options for people living in Canada.
1. Is to set up an appointment with CIC (where waiting period is long)
2. Get out of the country and land while coming back.

I dont have a US visa. So is it mandatory for me to go out of canada and get a refusal from US at the border. If so where can i land. "Rainbow Bridge" or "Peace Bridge"

Please suggest

Yes it is better to go out of country to complete landing as it is quickest way to complete landing procedure. When you visit land border, go to US side and then tell them you are their for flag polling and they will give is Administrative refusal. Take it back to Canada side and tell them you are their for landing. Administrative refusal is different from Visa Denial. Administrative refusal wont affect your future application for US Visa. Have a safe landing.

Hi all, I have just received my COPR. Is there anything else required at the time of landing like financial information on funds. If yes what is the amount that you are supposed to show or carry and in what form. Can someone help.
