Today, my wife has recevied the confiramation of Permanent residence. (PR)

PR expire date : 2025/05/10
Under Application Details
Vaild to 2016/11/24 -is it vaild date for a year from the date of medicals?
Should she go to Canada before Nov 24, 2016?
I and My wife are planing to go to Canada next month, stay one week and leave. We will be moving back to Canada in March next year.
Is it all possible ? Is there anything I need to be aware of ?

Any advices appreciated !

The copr is only valid until November 24, 2016, which means she MUST land prior to that date to officially become pr. if she does not land before that date, then her PR approval will be cancelled and she will have to apply all over again. She can do a soft landing prior to march, which means she lands, returns to her home country to finalize her move and then comes back to canada at a later date as a landed PR.

Yes, in order to maintain PR status, You must be physically present in Canada for at least 730 days (2 years) in every 5-year period.that's means you can spend a total of up to 3 years outside of Canada during a 5-year period, so you will be fine.

Nothing too worried, but keep in mind, you Must land before November 24, 2016

Any advices appreciated !
