Received 2nd AOR in 2 weeks... but cannot see in ECAS

Hello

I received my second AOR from Buffalo in 2 weeks by snail mail... however i cannot view my progress online at ECAS... i've tried everything but it won't work...

Now what...???

Use the one you recd from CIO, and if it works, it should work all through the process!!

Call the CIC call center and explain to them your situation. They might be able to help you out.

When did you get the AOR? It usually takes 1-2 weeks for the status to be updated on ECAS. I think it got updated for me after 1 week. I had got the AOR by email.

BTW, I was able to access the ECAS status using the AOR sent by Nova Scotia even before I got the AOR from Buffalo. After 1 week, I was able to access the status using the AOR sent by Buffalo and it also reflected the current status as 'Received by Visa Office'.

Hi

Check your confirmation email from CIO, NS and check how your name was written/spelt on the left hand corner. There have been people on other forums where their first name and surnames have been interchanged at CIO, and they were unable to check their status until they saw how their names were spelt or interchanged on their medical forms.

I guess I can wait a week... I only received it last Wednesday... my AOR from NS file number didn't work at all from the time I received it... Now I have to check my Buffalo AOR....

Use your middle name, first name and last name seperately and also tried full name, ist and last name and ist and 2nd name. You will definitely get your status.
