True that OP gambled on their ECA returning a certain outcome within a certain time period BUT they received an ITA after getting their ECA report so all legit there. OP did not lie about their ECA issue date in the post ITA application (that's where it starts counting) so that was legit as well.
About being lucky, the only luck involved was in their assessing officer not bothering with the 'random' date mentioned in their pre ITA application (which isn't really luck because the officers pay far more attention to the post ITA application and only ever compare with the pre ITA application if there are serious discrepancies and/or changes in score).
