Reasons for student visa rejection

I am a m.phqrm graduate and i have a 2 years of working experience including as assistant professor in one of the college.I want to know that if I applied for pgdiploma there are any chance of visa rejection.

PG diploma in what field?
All other things being in order (finances, home country ties and so on) a PG diploma is still not a natural progression after a Master of Pharmacy.. not to say that people haven't been issued study permits for diplomas after doing a master's

If you’re able to explain how the diploma will improve your career prospects in your home country, it’s more likely you’ll be granted a study permit
