Hi, everybody!
I need you advise in my situation.
I have been nominated by Saskatchewan Province and get ITA by CIC under Express Entry program. I was nominated under International Skilled Worker (4011). I am working as Associate Professor in University. After I submitted all the needed documents except police good conduct certificate. I received a letter stated that everything is ok with my application and just need to wait medical and police approval and that I have to pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee. I have paid and after I submit my police certificate I have received nest day the letter stated that I do not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada. The reason was that “The letters of employment you provided do not provide sufficient evidence to satisfy me that you have performed the actions described in the lead statement, or that you have performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the NOC – 4011”. The letter did not include job description and amount of hours per week. They did not ask to change the ref letter, they just refuse and closed the application. Before this at all stages the reference letter was acceptable...Then I asked Saskatchewan Province to link the nomination with my new EE profile because the nomination is valid until 22 Aug 2016. They also refused, stating that I can use only one time this nominations. I also can not apply for new nomination because they closed my work (4011) for new streams. I understand that technically I made a mistake because my letter did not contain job description..I wounder what Associate professor can do other than deliver lectures and etc. But if without emotions, can anybody advise what I still can do. Thank you.

I am sorry to hear about your case. I think Senior members can advice you on this topic specifically. I think you can get a new reference letter according to CIC's requirements and send a CSE with a polite letter of explanation. I think there is still hope

Sorry to hear about the rejection. From what I have read on this forum, my suggestion to you would be to try again with CIC. I mean write a nicely worded letter to CIC to kindly provide an opportunity for submitting a new letter of employment.

Thank you for reply.
I have got a new job reference letter. Can you advise where is appropriate to write polite letter of explanation?
Thank you

They normally do not open closed cases based on NOC mismatch. But no harm in trying. Whats your CRS score? you did not keep a reference letter from your colleagues ?

Dear all,

Do you think there might be a rejection because there is no company fax, company telephone, company email address, on Reference Letter?
I have asked all departments I can in my company, but there is no official released template of letter that includes the 3 informations.

Do I have to write a letter of explanation and submit along with the Reference letter?

Yes, letter head should have all the company contact information.

Get the contact details mentioned at end of the letter head, with company stamp. That should suffice the requirement.

Thanks for your reply sir.
But our company denied to stamped on the letter if I add anymore information on the template since they thought it is not the template "officially" released.
The official released template of letter only contains: company address, company URL, post code...

Any suggestions?

Ask your manager to write down all your job responsibilities on stamp paper (affidavit), get it notarized.
Attach appointment letter, pay slips, all employment docs.
Attach you manager's employee identification document.
Mention ur manager's contact details on affidavit itself along his/her signature.

Thanks again for your reply.
I've asked my manager's business card, also I will write a LoE, my pay slips and etc.

Perfect.

Dear All,

May I ask:
If any of my documents are not in English, I've made them notarized (with translation, it means English Notarization).
Then in EE uploading file, DO I HAVE TO UPLOAD the ORIGINAL document AND notarized version together?

Or I can just upload the notarized version?

Coz I see some people said he/she was rejected because not uploading original PCC but only upload translated version.
So I am thinking about all other documents.

Thanks for your reply.

You should upload the following:

1. Original Document
2. Translation of the original Document from an authorized translator. This is mandatory if your document is not in English.
3. and notarized copies.

Hope this clears your confusion

moose83,

Thanks for your reply.
So it means the Original Document is MUST.

Coz in my English Notarization File, includes: Copy of original documents, notarize text in English and Native Language.
So I thought Original Document is not needed.

Now I understand.
Thanks again!

Your welcome. Good Luck

Hi All,

My application got rejected because I only submit one of my working contracts(it was same company but with contracts extended multiple times).

So that contract covers only six months working experience, and it got rejected...

Just wondering what are the chances to get my case reopen if raise a CSE ? Anyone has similar situation with me? Otherwise I will need to wait until november to see if I can get nominated by Ontario.

Thanks for any suggestions!
