Hi guys help please. If i received my AOR on the 4th February when is my 6 months processing time up 3rd July? or 3rd August?
I know its sounds like a silly question but I'm not sure when to start counting 1 full month.

Hi,
just want to discuss one point here, one of our forum member got additional requirement from CIC that provide finger print based PCC. what is this matter, is there anyone who has got such PCCs. if it is mandatory, i will require it for UAE and Pakistan. Pls suggest.

For Proof of Funds requirements in CIC page it is written: The applicant should provide an official letter(s) from one or more financial institutions that lists all current bank and investment accounts as well as outstanding debts, such as credit card debts and loans.

In the letter issued by my bank nothing is written about any outstanding debts or loans, because I do not have any. Do you think CIC will still insist on having these written? Everything else in my letter is OK.

It is required from Canada I guess. Its not a requirement for Pakistan for sure.

thanks for reply, i lived in 3 cities in Pakistan, i have arranged PCC from each city, so in total 3 PCCs. so, would it be ok?

Yes it will be fine.

Then that might be required for other countries where Fingerprints are needed. May be Saudi and UAE need it. May be Egypt too. you can check it on cic website about PCC requirements for those countries

Should I write LOE and attach the old passport copy?

Then that might be required for other countries where Fingerprints are needed. May be Saudi and UAE need it. May be Egypt too. you can check it on cic website about PCC requirements for those countries

yes, i checked it, it neither required by UAE nor Pakistan, but Egypt.

I just made the RPRF payment. Since I don't have a credit card, I made the payment with my debit card. As soon as I made the payment I've received a receipt of payment. Out of curiosity, I checked my internet banking account and found the amount in 'Amount in Holds' section which is deducted from my Available balance. So, I called the bank and they have mentioned that there is no hold from their end and they are simply waiting for the merchant to claim for it. They will only keep the money like that for the next 14 days after that it will be credited back to the account.

My question is-
Have anyone else experienced the same i.e. The payment amount getting deducted from available balance and stays as a hold/pending balance? Does CIC immediately takes the money or claim it after few days?
If the payment does not get through then will I get a rejection for this?
