Hi Aarti 21,

My Application was rejected today as the job offer didn't mention "non-seasonal and indeterminate" employment.I have LMO valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Can you please let me know what did you request in CSE to reopen the application and also did you submit a new offer letter with those particular words.

Thanks in advance.

Hi sand02, sorry to hear that..

Mine is not re opened yet I m waiting reply for cse..submitted on 19th June...
my employer did not issue any new letter ..they flatly refused stating they provided all they could...

I had spoken to lawyers and they told me that if I don't get letter from my employers , cic will not consider my case....I don't know anything as yet..just trying for some good luck to work .

Hope for best...
If u manage pls get letter from employer and send a cse asap...

Thanks,
Aarti

Hello Ashivd and all seniors,

I am confused with reading all these posts regarding rejections especially about "permanent and non seasonal" in offer letter. I am working as a Retail sales supervisor and it its LMIA based job my score is 920, what i understood from all these posts is the application is likely to be get rejected if your offer letter does not mention any thing about "Permanent and non seasonal". I am frustrated because this is my second time applying in express entry after they cancelled my file on june 26, 2015.

My offer letter does not say its permanent and non seasonal but it says duration employment is 24 months from the date of started to work. (my lmia is valid for two years so its says 24 m0nths)

Thanks
suzy

i will advise you contact your firm and see if that letter can be amended to contain PERMANENT, FULLTIME, NON-SEASONAL. thats the safest bet or else the reason for denial was not employment related

all the best

Unfortunately, that requirement appears to be fairly strict for people with LMIA supported job offers. Speak with your manager to find out how you can get those terms included.

Share this link with them as well http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/offer.asp

Why did they cancel your file earlier?

thanks for the link and suggestion, my frnd who works with me has the offer letter (not mentioned permanent and non seasonal) and her permanent resident application is approved on July 1. 2015. Her case is unique, her status expired in April 22, 2015 and no update until June 30, 2015 and on July 1, 2015 she got her status changed and a approval email from cic as wel. So i am bit confused about cic officer who process the appication.

No comments about you friend's scenario.

The forum advises basis CIC site and other member experiences reported so far. Your friend's case appears to be the exception rather than the rule because more than 1 member has reported a rejection because of their job offer letters lacking one or more of those magic words.

Hope you're as lucky as your friend. All the best!

Your right Ashivad,

Will reference letter will work with this magic words, i am not sure if my employer would give me a revised offer letter, instead i can ask for a reference letter with "Permanent and non seasonal job".

My offer letter says full time and i work for 40hrs/week and they pay me my Living out Allowances as well. so only thing i am missing are these magical words, its frustuating.

My file was returned as incomplete because they could not find my husband medicals upload properly.

Anyways thanks Ashivad, i wish you all the best and appreciated your time and patience.

i will advise you send a CSE. check this forum for how.

send a copy of your husbands upfront medical and an explanation that it was done and you apologize for any mistakes as you uploaded it correctly. if you can get a revised letter this will be the best time to attach it also.

all the best

Send in all the information you have including the Cancellation letter. Regret/apologize for not submitting this PCC earlier and earnestly request them to consider reopening your case on receipt of this missing document.

All the best!

I am not sure about that, it took my employer around a week to gather everything properly.

I think you just have to apologize for the misunderstanding and request them to reconsider the rewritten offer letter.

thank you Dragon 17 sky,
I sent CSE with revised job offer letter and employment reference letter with those magical words ( permanent and non- seasonal ).
Fingers crossed
