Reasons for Rejection

Hi, I would like to ask for your opinion about my POF, as my situation is a bit unique.
As a POF I submitted a letter from the bank and a 6-month bank statement. What worries me is that I get paid in cash and deposit the cash monthly to my bank account. The amount I deposit monthly is the same as the total salary stated in my experience letter as we do not pay taxes where I live.

Do you think I should raise a CSE to submit a letter from my employer confirming that I get paid in cash along with my pay slips?

Please note that I already submitted my application and received 1st and 2nd AOR

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

They don't care about all your financial details. They only care 1) that you have their required amount free and available to use; and 2) in checking the last 6 months they don't see any big bumps that might indicate you got the money through a loan. That's all.

Thanks Dobes. Question about work reference letter. Some of my previous employers have not provided letters in cic format, for eg no weeks per hour. My current employer has provided the letter, but not the previous employers. Lawyer suggested to draft a letter myself and get it notarized for missing information. Has anyone had the experience of rejection bcoz some reference letters were missing

There was one rejection case reported here in this forum where the PA wrote his own letter and provided the contact details of the supervisor. He did that because the organization he works for is a government organization and they did not provide him the reference letter.

I had submitted my application for PR without uploading the Iraq PCC. In the LOE, I mentioned that I was not able to apply for my Iraq PCC as one of the requirements for applying for PCC is to give a power of attorney to a trustee in Iraq. Currently i do not have any known person in Iraq to whom I can give a power of attorney. This were the instructions given my the Iraq Embassy in Ottawa. My application has since been cancelled as incomplete.
Has anybody got a PCC for Iraq and what was the process followed to obtain the same.

WES gives ECA report specific to CIC which I valid for 5 years . The letter # will have your ref no + IMM like this 123456IMM .
You no need to submit the docs again . Just order a duplicatre report specific to CIC in their website and they will issue in a week time


My report was first sent as normal /standard report which is 123456 , and then I called them and they said to apply a duplicate one specific to CIC . I got mine with 123456IMM , which is specific to CIC .

Wow, WES is really the way to go. When I needed this from ICAS, they 1) yelled at me for not getting it in the first place, 2) charged me $140 for the replacement certificate, and 3) threatened to take 20 weeks to send it! They actually sent it in 2 1/2 weeks, but still....

Hello fellow forumites.

I just want to share my most recent experience. Got IITA on June 27. I received my 2nd AOR 17 days later. Since then I have received addtional documents requesting proof of work documents from my LVO.

Yesterday, I recd 2 procedural fairness letters. One for the docs which I had sent (i assume this was a mistake by Ottawa as I sent the docs to LVO via email and thru courier. The other was for Sch A and additional family info.

The thing is I log into mycic daily looking for a miracle and I never got this request. I was supposed to have sent the docs on July 27.
.so my advice is that everyone checks their application. And not just the status, check where all the files you uploaded are, if there's a request it might be there and you won't get an email alerting you to this fact.

Anyways I've sent the docs now. Waiting for my PPR (in Jesus name

My husband and I have different nationalities. My husband (the spouse in this application) spent 5 months earlier this year in my home country. Before this, he only visited here twice, and stayed for only one to two weeks for each visit.

We did not submit his police record in my home country because we think his visits here are always shorter than a consecutive 6 months. Could this pose a problem later? Are they going to ask us to make it up?

I got my ECA done from WES in July 2014. It does not have any IMM number on it. My application is still in process and CIC has not asked fro any additional document. Should I ask WES to issue me a duplicate report with IMM number on it and file a CSE with a duplicate report?? Please Guide

Non-EDE IME, Worker type. We told the clinic (here in Vancouver) many times it was for Permanent Residency and they never indicated an issue or any confusion over the process. Kind of devastated. Calling the help line tomorrow because I'm not even sure what we did wrong, they gave no indication how to correct it or what the proper format was?

Please share your timeline. When did you get AOR, did you see "Medical: Passed" before this happened?

There have been recently three reports of this type of rejection on this forum so far. You made the forth one. Really sorry. You may try to file for CSE, case specific enquiry.

Sorry to hear that Did you take any additional tests? These medical rejections are so frustrating, as we all do our job, go to the clinic, get stuff done, submit docs.

Can it be a reason for rejection where a fsw inland applicant applied wth spouse was asked spouse's1and half yr vocational training education documents in checklist and we are able to provide only the education certificate but no transcript.No education points was claimed from spouse side and answer was no on the spouse education's eca and canadian education...My concern is, though no points was claimed and was asked to upload her education proof..????
