Dear all,

i will soon submit e-APR to CIC, meanwhile i got my reference letters revised and got NOC team positive feedback for the intended NOC. I tried to share it same with SINP, so that CIC may find them same while BG checking.

After several days, i l logged sinp oasis portal, they haven't attached revised reference letters, neither old one are found.
Also i couldn't find my degrees in Education Tab. it is showing no attachment.

afterward, i sent a reminder email to sinp, no response so far.

Please suggest whether it is safe to upload revised reference letters for CIC e-APR?

I also got my reference letter revised/rephrased after getting my OINP nomination. CIC is fine till the time thr aren't any drastic changes in the two reference letters. Thr is no harm in this as you are not doing anything wrong.

At the same time only Minor corrections are acceptable. Make sure that the two letters are not completely different (e.g one talks about Sales profile while other talks about advertising).

Dear all,

I have a question, regarding salary detail as part of reference letter, as per requirement it should be per anum basis, however, my employer can only provide me the last Salary Slip just be resignation, print on plain page and stamp. they are not taking its print on letter head, where as job responsibility already obtained on letterhead ant doesn't include salary detail.

Pls suggest, whether the
Salary me be per anum basis, and must be on letter head?

Doesn't matter whether its per annum, month or hourly basis as long as it makes it clear that the job is paid appropriately (as per the running wage for that NOC/country).

It should preferably be mentioned in the reference letter. Attach bank credits (statements) if required to substantiate your claim. Separate pay stubs must be appropriately stamped and authenticated.

Hi guys,

What does it mean if my Backround check status suddenly changed from "Not started" to "Not needed at this time?" : :-X

Don't worry. Either your background check has concluded and waiting on Security Check, or file has been transferred to another VO, or both.

Thanks @ Doda for the clarity. In what instance is an application transferred to another VO?

Mine was transferred due to work load redistribution. Usually that's the case or transfered to you local VO for finalizing your application.

What is the local VO for inlanders?

What does in mean when your background check had remained in progress for almost 4 months?

Am I nearly at the end or what?

I submitted my application on MyCIC 5 days ago, and today, I got a request for Schedule 4 form. In the request mail, one paragraph drew my attention:

"If the documents are not already in English or French, all documents must be accompanied by English or
French translations by certified translators. When original documents are requested, you must upload the
original documents to MyCIC. We do not accept copies signed by notaries
."

I submitted all of the non-English/French documents as I got them from the notary - which means notarized copy of the original, and the translation into English printed on the back of it. This is how they do it here in Turkey. I did not upload the originals. The funny thing, I wouldn't be able to even if I wanted to. Almost all of my PDFs were right on that 4MB mark.

Does this mean a rejection for me for incomplete application? Did anyone get such a rejection?

Thanks

A number of folks have been rejected for this same reason. I think you still have a ray of hope to prevent your app from being rejected. Rejection for incomplete docs is usually in the first 30 days of submission, yours is still in this 'danger zone'.

You should scan and upload the all the originals of your notarized docs. The pdf size is not an excuse, you can use a software to reduce the size of PDFs. Use the placeholder provided for the schedule 4 and merge these docs into one and also use the placeholder for the letter of explanation.

best of luck buddy!
