If you worked for the Government, then you have to choose Government. I don't see how this could even be questioned. The instructions on that are pretty clear in the application.

+1 and honestly complicated questions like that should be emailed to the guys like Asivad and Rajkamal for clarification and prompt response!

Friends,

My first application for PR was returned as Incomplete on 29-Jan.

How long will CIC take to process the refund?

Is there a way we can track the same?

Thanks in advance

Same Case even dates are same

It takes anywhere between 30-40 days for refund. Then it also depends on date your credit card statement is prepared.

All the best. Which PNP?

Hi, I found this in the thread:

Summary of Rejections

General
1. Issues with PCC
a. Specific for India: only states one address but applicant has stayed in at least 2 or more addresses not covered in the PCC.
b. Not getting PCC for all countries where the applicant has stayed for more than 6 months in the last 10 years

2. Education Credentials Assessment and Proof of Education overall
a. Original transcript of records and diploma not included in submission
b. ECA report not uploaded in submission
c. Education profile not transferred correctly/completely from EE profile to eAPR e.g. Bachelor's level in EE profile, but transferred as Diploma level only in eAPR
d. ECA report not accessible online to CIC (just recently known). Only applicable to ECA assessment 2014 and back.

3. Significant discrepancy between declared NOC versus job duties/titles in reference letter of employment

4. Documents in any language aside from English or French not translated

5. Invalid medical exam
a. Got examined for Temporary Visa while applying for Permanent Resident visa

5. Proof of funds
a. Any kind of inconsistency or gap with the bank certificate and bank statements
b. Age of funds not more than 6 months back and missing gift deed/s or any proof that the money is a gift compared to being borrowed

For applicants applying under CEC

1. Job offer not stating Permanent

2. No LMIA

I am a CEC inland and got an ITA recently but did not submit my application yet.
I do not understand the part in red.
I thought that I do not need an LMIA if I am under CEC class ? And I thought that I did not need my job to be permanent either and that it should be the case only for people with LMIA ?
I am now working in Canada but my contract is only for 3 more years. My supervisor did a letter without stating the length of my contract. Should he ?

Thank you

This is only for people like me, who in addition to applying for CEC, got 600 points for LMIA based job.

Hi Sumit Singh,

I have received ITA on Jan 1st week, and i have applied for USA Police certificate.
The processing tome for FBI is 15 weeks, so i don't have any time.

In your case, why they have rejected, bacause of USA Police certificate or any other country.
When i spoke to FBI customer care, they told CIC knows their processing time well, So can i submit my application with LOE for USA police certificate.
Another police certificate are available with me. Because if I decline the ITA now, dont wheather i will receive the ITA again.
I am ONIP provincee nominee. Please explain your case in detail or share your mail id.

Thanks,
Siv

I got rejected because I had a PCC from my permanent address in India whereas I lived across 3 cities in India.

I got it re-issued from PSK and applied back again.

@Sumit...

To get PCC from PSK, do we need to mention all cities we lived in India?
or is this a requirement in the EE application to mention all the cities you have lived in and therefore we need to have all the cities covered in PCC?

Not required. Fill the online application form, and book an appointment , chose any nearby PSK office.

PSK PCC is generic, it will not have any details about your previous address history. Passport number and date of issue will only be mentioned in PCC.

Thanks krsenthilkumaran.

But is there any requirement to fill all the cities you lived in the EE application?
and why sumit singh said the following:
"<i>I got rejected because I had a PCC from my permanent address in India whereas I lived across 3 cities in India.

If the PCC is generic, then is there something that I am missing here?

<b>Note:</b> I am still undergoing OINP process.

Yes.In EE application form you have to fill the address history.

regarding the rejection, i guess sumit singh intially submitted a PCC from local police station which dint cover all the address he lived/he mentioned in the address history of EE application form.

So after rejection, he has re-applied with PSK PCC, which is generic.

Hope its clear now

Exactly. First time my PCC was from police station and it specifically mentioned only 1 address.

Now I got it from PSK which covers the entire country
