I think that cic has a reason to beleive that indian pcc can be acquired within the 2months and thats probably the reason they stated as to you did not put enough efforts to secure one.

Can any other cec applicant comment on this please?

This could help other candidates aswell.

It takes about a month. All you gotta do is goto the nearest BLS center and submit your passport. It takes even less than that if your passport has been issued in Canada.

It's because we have read stories people have reported on the forum of being rejected for not uploading these documents.

I have read (2 or 3 months back) 2 cases where a person said they were rejected for not uploading the 'Degree Certificate' with the WES Assessment and another case where a person said they were rejected for not uploading IELTS results.

Whether they used this as a cover for being rejected for something else I don't know. On this forum you can only take people at their word.
I believe the degree certificate is in the list of documents to be uploaded so I can see how that application could be rejected. The IELTS TRF is a surprise since they have a field to enter the TRF number and IELTS recommends that receiving institutions directly verify with them rather than relying on the TRF supplied by the candidate.

Any idea how many got rejections in 5th month or after 5th month ?

Less than a month actually. To be specific - it took me close to two weeks to get the Indian PCC and through BLS.

@Asivad, I've tried to follow your inputs on people getting rejection after bg going in progress for outland applications; have you heard of applications being declined after this point?

You posted a few times about it around page 55 or so but not much after that?

EE FSW Outland. I live in Belgium. I received my police cert on December 1st 2015. Submitted application end of December. Got rejected today because police certificate is older than 6 months. It took me a while to understand that CIC read the date on my police certificate wrong. In Europe dates are written as dd/mm/yyyy, in Canada as mm/dd/yyyy. So they think my certificate has been issued on January 12, 2015. In fact it was on December 1st. On the certificate it says 01/12/2015.

Very frustrating. Filed a CSE today. Hopefully they will reopen my application soon.

So please, tell me what does this mean? What are the next steps? I just started the application recently and try to figure out what are the further expectations. :)

Congratulations. How did you select the education level. There are so many confusion about selecting Two or more degrees or certificate selection.

I am planning to post guide once i get the complete idea about selection of education level.

Is there any page or link which has list of all tge possible reasons for rejection?
Thanks.

My CIC account got locked for 24 hours due to incorrect password. CIC doesn't lock it forever right?

No, do not worry. It will be activated after 24 hrs. I do face same problem but afterwords worked well.
