hello everybdy,
Thank you all for your efofrt in this forum, I eally appreciate it.
I have visited Canada twice (2000 & 2002). At that time, Saudi nationals do not require an entry visa but things hav changed now.
I am a Saudi citizn and I applied for a single entry tourist visa on 26 April to Embassy of Canada, Riyadh.
My application wa complete (or at least I thought so). Unfortunately, I recieved my passport and a refusal letter stating:
(Incomplete application - A 6-month bank statement is required).
I reapplied again today and the new application contains the following documents:
1 - Application form.
2 - Supplementary form.
3 - Travel information form.
4- Current and old passports.
5 - a photocopy of current passport.
6 - A letter of employment.
7 - A 6-month bak statment.
8 - A letter from my bank stating my closing balance and a 7-year relationship with this bank.
9 - A photocy of my visa credit ard
10 - A letter from me to the visa officer stating my pursode of travle ( toursim to visit Niagara falls for 10 days)
11- A letter indicating countries I have been to in the past ten years (21 countries).
12 - A letter indicating details of my previous visits to Canada (tourism).
13 - A copy of my round trip airline tickets
14 - Visa application fee.
15 - Visa application checklist upfront.
16 - Photocpies of all visas I have obtained in the past ten years (USA, UK, Italy, and Mexico).
17 - The refusal letter that I recieved.
What is my chance?
Thank you for your inpt,

Have a good day,,,,,,

WOW....they don't require much do they

Anyway if you have all that relevant documentation then I really cannot see why you should be refused, perhaps you should enclose blood too (sorry British joke, when someone wants everything from you, we say...'and they want blood too')

Good luck.....

Home sweet home:)
I have just arrived back home.
It was a great experience.
Canada is amazing.
The officer at point of entry was nice and gave me 6 months, I told him I need only 10 days. You may
change your mind, he replied!!!!
Thank you Canada and Thanks to sweet people of Canada...

Hello Canada lover,

I am from Riyadh too. I will soon apply for a visit visa too. I have some questions to ask, if you could help me please.

1. How and where did you make your payment for the visa application fee. I know a bank draft is to be made. Which bank did you go?What paper are we going to submit to the visa officer that will show proof that we made already the bank draft?
2. Why are you still giving them the letter indicating informations that are already been filled up in the application form, supplementaty form, and travel information form? I haven't seen in the guideline that these letters as needed as well. But please educate me if I my understanding of the process is wrong.
3. You had submitted many documents which I noticed are not in the list of the requirements to be submitted. The following are:
a. old passport
b. round trip tickets
c. Photocopies of visas of the countries that you had visited in the past.
d. all the letters that you made.

I am planning to travel on September 30, to sit for the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination on October 6, 2010 and is planning to be back on October 10, 2010.I am planning to submit my application within this week or maybe next week. Please help me by answering my enquiries above. Thank you.
