Hi, this is my first time of renewing my PR Card; my PR Card was given on 2005.
But I lived abroad over 1095 days during the 5 years because of accompanied with my husband (citizen). Will I be eligible to renew my PR Card? Also, what kind of information do I have to provide to the CIC?

I heard from my friends said, they would need the docs listed below:
-marriage certificate
-letters of both person that lived on same address
-couple registration for club houses
-reference listed we traveled together for 5 years

Q1: Can this document replace our entry/exit record? This document is a prize by my local government (marriage part) that shows we’re together during the past 10 years for the entry/exit record?

Q2: Can my application be submitted by family members that live in Canada, while I’m away from Canada? I know that I must be in Canada for picking up the PR Card.

Q3: If the documents that are to be sent to CIC aren’t English/French, do I need a translation for it? Can my lawyer be the certified translator (she’s not a Canadian)? If not, who can be the translator?

Q4: What documents in the application is required to signed “I certified it is a true copy of ________” by a lawyer?

Q4: Lastly, “IF” CIC rejected my renewal request, or I wanted to give up; can I request for an abandon of my ? Will the request later effect my application for visa traveling to Canada?

Q5: Will the request of abandon effect my husband or any other things?

I can answer a couple of your questions.

Yes - you will be able to maintain your PR status even though you have been abroad for over 1095 days because you have been accompanying your citizen husband.

No - a family member cannot submit the renewal application on your behalf. You must be in Canada in order to submit the application.

Hopefully someone else can help with the rest.

These would be convincing proofs that you spent your time outside Canada with a Canadian spouse, and so can count the days toward your PR quota of 730 days every 5 years.

Q1: Can this document replace our entry/exit record? This document is a prize by my local government (marriage part) that shows we're together during the past 10 years for the entry/exit record? Sorry: I don't understand this question. Could you rephrase it?

Q2: Can my application be submitted by family members that live in Canada, while I'm away from Canada? I know that I must be in Canada for picking up the PR Card. I would check with your local Canadian Visa Department. If Canada allows PR spouses to count their time abroad as part of their PR quota, then it stands to reason that there is a procedure to allow them to renew their PRs abroad too.

You can have your PR card sent to your registered address in Canada (e.g. son's address or parents' address) and have them courier it to you abroad.

Q3: If the documents that are to be sent to CIC aren't English/French, do I need a translation for it? Can my lawyer be the certified translator (she's not a Canadian)? If not, who can be the translator?
There is probably a guide for renewing a PR, somewhere on the IC website. What does it say about translation of documents? Notwithstanding, it is safe to assume that any supporting document must be in English or French, but I have never read that it must only be done by a specified translator -- so your lawyer's translation would be acceptable. As a precaution, have your Canadian spouse look it over to make sure it is comprehensible.

Q4: What documents in the application is required to signed “I certified it is a true copy of ________” by a lawyer? I don't have the application in front of me. Sorry, cannot answer this one.

Q4: Lastly, “IF” CIC rejected my renewal request, or I wanted to give up; can I request for an abandon of my ? Will the request later effect my application for visa traveling to Canada? PMM would know this one. I should not speculate.

Q5: Will the request of abandon effect my husband or any other things? No.

Hi, Toby, thanks for the reply!
I'll also rephrase the question again.
So... My husband and I had receive a letter by the government that states : We had live in Macau the required amount of time, so they opened a saving account us. Its kinda a fund saving account; they also allocated us of each $10,000 on our account.

My question is :Can this letter replace the entry/exit record? Because it also says on the letter "According to our police's entry/exit record, you have met the requirements.

I will sure have a complete list of the hongkong's entry/exit record, but i just somehow dont want to give Macau's entry/exit record.

I will defer to others on this one. I am not sure what the purpose of the entry-exit record (to both Hong Kong and Macau) is -- unless Canada simply wants to know if you have traveled in the past, and respected the terms of your visitor`s visa.

If this records shows something else, I don`t know what it is. Sorry.

Hi, i need help again.
On the PR Card Application (IMM5444E), first page, i saw a section that says :" Has an Immigration officier ever issued you a Report Under Subsection44(1) or made the decision that you have not met the residency obligations required of Canadian permanent residents"

In my past, they rejected my my first time applying for PRCard because i was aboard too long with my canadian husband, but they finally appealed my PR without going to court. Does this mean i HAD(yes), or i have not(no)

Hi:

I answered you personally.

Cheers
