Hello. I've been sorta looking through ideas into moving from the US to Canada to leave a very toxic home environment. However not only am I disabled and cannot work, but I don't have any family to go to in Canada. I do have a friend who I've been talking to for just over a year now and we do have plans for me to move in with her later on down the line. Can I immigrate without family and without work?

Unfortunately there really aren't any options for you to immigrate at this time.

If you end up in a serious relationship with your friend in Canada and end up getting married (or live together for a full year to become common law), then your friend would be able to sponsor you for permanent residency.
