Dear Dr.Hassib

Thanks for your reply. And I have another Q if you don't mind;

"Additional Family Information" should be filled out two times;once by the principal applicant and once by the spouse ,right?

Now, in both cases the pricipal applicant's name should be written in the box provided for "Applicant" , and the spouse's name in the box provided for "Spouse", or do we have to switch names? I mean once the principal applicant fills out the form as Applicant with all the details relating to his/her family, and the other time the spouse fills it out as the Applicant ,again with details.

It's confusing you know, specially when you add the "Mother" and "Father" 's names. If both times the applicant is X and the spouse is Y, it seems as if X has two mothers and two fathers and two sets of siblings.

I don't know if I am well understood, anyway I would really appreciate your kind response.

Thanks in advance.

Hey katy!
Seems u got ur file back.
Here is some clue for u check it out.
u have to fill up twice one first the applicant(X) X's spouse X's mother and father name and below X's brother or sister.
Then next form should be filled up by Y as the principal applicant and X be the spouse and the Y's mother and father name also Y's brother and sister namenot the Y"s.
Hope this provides u an idea how to fill up
let meknow if it helpedu or not.
Good luck.

Hey Jolly,

Thank you for quick reply. I haven't got it back yet, but the guy in TNT told me I'm likely to receive it on Sunday or Monday. The tracking system is not updated on returned items. I'm just praying in anticipation.

So,that's the way you filled out yours, once you as the applicant, and once your spouse as the applicant. Right? I'll do the same if I hopefully get it back, since the previous time I was the applicant in both forms I guess. It was to my big big wonder and hesitation though.

Thanks again for your very helpful manner.

I will be more than happy to hear good news on your case.

Have a nice weekend buddy, and take care! :)

Since you are going to resubmit your application, read this thread "READ THIS BEFORE SUBMISSIONS - DOs & DONTs-POST 26 June 2010" from first to last.....
- Never leave any blank, write down n/a, if question is not appropriate for you
- BE careful while writing the name of your visa office. One applicant got his file returned only because he wrote "India" as his VO, actually his visa office was New delhi. (New delhi is the capital of India,CIO could accept it but they didn't)
-IELTS(general training only) copy must be origianal, it's valiity must not be more than 1 year.
- Dont forget to submit childern's passport as well........

Dr.Hasib

Latest updates important for upcoming applicants:

Please note that few forms for Application for PR ( for Federal Skilled Worker Class) has been changed.

Following forms have been changed:-

1) Schedule 3 – Economic classes (IMM 0008)

2) Fees payment Form – Application for PR (includes Credit Card CVV no)

3) Document Checklist (It was last modified on 20 Dec 2010 & in the IELTS requirement section it still shows validity of General training IELTS is 1 year. However on 23rd Dec 2010, CIO revocked restriction on IELTS validity and changed IELTS validity from 1 year to 2 years. Consequently, Document checklist probably change again within a week)
