read GCMS notes and potential security screen

Hi,

I received my GCMS notes. Am I looking at the right place? On the second page of GCMS notes:
Eligibility: recommended passed.
Criminality: passed
Medical: passed
Info sharing: Complete
Security: not started

Then I scrolled down to securities under Admissibility section. I find following notes:

Security: 1
Created Date:2018/10/02
Created by :AM12793
Assigned By: AM1273
Assigned To:RC-9245
Due Date 2019/10/02

Am I chosen for SS?

In section titled ACTIVITY look at activity 1-5. If the first 3 or 4 activities are blank(it just mentions your name) followed by activity which mentions only Security, then its likely pointing to SS.

There is only security 1. So it simply means security is not started?

In you GCMS notes you have a section for ACTIVITY(if you are notes are 200 pages long it would be somewhere around the 150th page).

What you are mentioning above is from the ADMISSIBILITY section....

Yeah so you are not in SS as I look at it.
Btw, when did you pass the eligibility and criminality? date should be in your Activity and the Notes of the officer...

Thanks for your helps. I was asked to submit RCMP on Oct 2, and I submitted on Oct 18.
In GCMS notes(under notes sections), it shows they received my RCMP on Oct 25, and criminality was passed on Oct 29. My eligibility was recommended passed on Oct 2, same date they asked for RCMP.

SS is not a big deal,
This is how security works
CBSA takes all the cases and in some cases, CSIS is involved (People call this SS) but this is normal. People applying from countries that have a contract with Canada might not see CSIS.
The best way to check what is going on in security is you request CBSA notes.

Same thing. Activities 1-4 contain only my name, activity 5 says about security. Feel ready for the worst

Mentally get ready, but I do not think mine is under CSIS still, since those in SS applicants will have their notes activity clearly say 'Security Screening'
