Re-sent whole package AGAIN on October 17th and still hasnt arrived in Mississa

Hi,

I just need to vent. I had to resend my sponsorship pacakage after the CIC sent it back to me for some 2011 forms. Anway, the problem that is causing me to not sleep AT ALL is that I resent the whole pacakge (30euros,again) from Italy to Mississauga on October 17th, and it is still not on the Canada Post website. The Italian Post keeps telling me I have to wait three weeks, but I feel soo angry, because i have a gut feeling that it is lost!!! What if it is lost?, I will have to do everything again from scratch and all the originals I put in that package. My stomach hurts, this process is killing me!!!

Anyone know if this is normal, should i worry? ....

if the post in Italy deliver after 3 weeks then it is normal. Unlike sith the other post office if it is already full and ready to deliver then it might be deliver as fast as they could.
 
I dont think its lost, but Canada Post is like that (from my experience) they are never on time :( Paid for express delivery of my spouses visitor visa extension and it arrived a week later after me calling them a lot to find out what happened. I know its not about the money, but, Canada post does offer a refund if the package is not there by the time they promised!

Hoping your package gets there soon, its so hard to wait :(

Nothing will show up on Canada post website until item has landed in Canada and has cleared customs at Toronto....mine sat for 5 days in Toronto before showing on website although UK website said it had been handed over to Canada post for delivery. Sometimes a mis-scan can cause a delay - so deep breaths....sure it will be ok :)
 
Is it regular mail or did you expedite it? I feel your pain

Same here... Still waiting for the cpcm to received our application sent oct. 19..
 
Lets hope that it is a misscan and not lost.... just pray for me and my paperwork!!! Thank you Guys!!!
 
That's a pain!! I hope your files arrive safely?

If you're in Italy, are you near Rome? I know it's too late but if it does get lost in the mail I would mail it from Vatican City next time, their mailing system is known to be much more reliable than the rest of Italy's.
 
you dont know what pain is.

Pain is, the visa officer telling you and your partner that your relationship is 'not genuine' and then you are still waiting close to 4 years-----thats pain !
