How long does IOM karachi takes to upload medical on system and after how much time do we get the line update "medical has been received". Plz share experiences

It takes 8-11 days to get the medicals line update in ECAS.

This is my first post in this Forum, I had been a mute spectator till now , I guess now i have reason to speak now .
First of all Many thanks to all of you for being a great motivator and knowledge enhancer in all aspects.
I have learnt to deal with uncertainty with positivity through you all.
Its been a 17 months journey and another jourrney of Landing in Canada will soon become .
I have recieved my passport stamped with Visa on 27th Nov .My journey is as below :
File sent to Visa Office -15th June 2014
File Recieved by Office -25th June 2014
PER Recieved - 20th October 2014
SLU- 12th Dec 2014, Long wait started here...(also communicated VO about JOB change and US travels in the meantime)
Applied for GCMC Notes- around-30th May 2015
Replied recieved around 25th June 2015
This helped as recived the Medical request mail thereafter.
Medicals & RPRF Request - 15 July 2015
Medicals done -1st August
Medical recieved- 8Th August 2015
Situation- Wife Pregnent and Due for sept 2015 so informed VO about the same via CSE with supporting Doc's, when sent the RPRF fees and PCC with medical confirmation)
New Born -14th Sept 2015,
Instruction recieved from VO, how to include new born, so DOC's sent to VO on 14th Oct 2015
Medical Request for the new Born -9th Nov 2015
Medicals Done - 14th Nov 2015
PPR- 23rd Nov 2015
Passport submit - 24th 2015,Eve
Visa Issued -26th Nov 2015
Paasport recieved with COPR- 27th Nov 2015.
I hope this would be helpful for people sailing in the same ship like mine, if anybody left behind, your wait is about to be over.

When u made the medical for your baby was that reflected to ur ecas status as i have done for my new born baby medical on augast 1st but never updated on ecas so far.the only update was on nov when a line updated stating that we sent u correspondance on july 28th (that was my baby medical request) only.anyone facing the same situation.

I have about 9 month unemployment gap where i basically looked for a Job in my own field (Finance) and now CiC has asked for details activity during that period How should i Answer that??

I have recieved MR and RPRF req along with above queries .

As i was unemployed during that period now i am very confuse how i answer that queries .
They have mention to provide supporting applicable doc to suffice my details activity of that period .

Plzzz help.

Just write unemployed since you weren't working during the said period.
This is acceptable as what CIC wants is having one year work experience
in the last 10 years in your NOC.

My Ecas is still stuck on "Medicals Have been received" (not for the new born)though my process is complete and front end is Decision Made .so it is not necessary they will put something for the new born medicals there.I straightaway received PPR . I hope this helps .

Hi, there are many with the similar timelines as your friend who Are waiting for PPR from WVO (including myself). Warsaw has been extremely slow in issuing PPRs lately. All we can do is wait... Your friend can raise a CSE to Warsaw and ask for an update however they usually send a generic revert. All the best!

let your friend order for GCMS notes as this will contain details information as to what is happening to his application

By the grace of almighty, landed in Pearson Airport Toronto today and completed PR formalities.

It was a smooth entry, immigration and customs officers were helpful, they were actually happy to see I was prepared with necessary docs/forms. This preparation also helped me to save significant time while my family was waiting!

So my suggestion to all complete the B4 form, not necessarily details in the form itself, complete in a excel spreadsheet with a summary value, put same value in the form. That will fulfill the purpose. But you need to take jewellery photos, all documents/photo should be 2 copies, one customs keeps for their records, the other set they will return stamped.

That's it!!!

I am bit confused about b4 form, many posts suggest I need to take two print outs for goods accompanying and goods to follow. How do I differentiate that in b4 form?

Goods to follow means things I will bring later or things that will come in shipment in the current trip?

And do I need to fill b4a form too?
