If that's the case, it's great, no issues.
Send only Bio page of new passport, no need for attestation.
No need to send copy of old passport. (they usually ask for passport bio page, as many people fail to inform them of renewal)
You may add covering letter describing changes (as stated by Gsw)....
Use your new name.

Why don't you raise CSE and ask status of your application and ask that at what stage your application has reached.

With God Grace I Got MR RPF and PCC Request today evening at 5:52 pm.

ModifiedTimeline is as follows:
File submission date: 25th June 2014
File started processing: 17th OCt 2014
PER: 21st oct 2014.
MR PCC RPF request: 9th Oct 2015.

Please help me. I lived in Canada from 2012 to 2014. right now I am in India. Recently I received the request for PCC , Medicals & RPRF.
I have questions regarding PCC

1.I have to submit PCC from India & Canada. Can anyone tell me that PCC from Passport Seva kendra will be accpted for India or not?(I am right now in West Bengal)

2. Secondly can anyone guide me how I can get PCC from Canada? ??? :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Dear,
Simply click reply to the email you received for medical, PCC & RPRF. (So the subject line remains the same)
OR write the following in sequence, in the subject line:
APPLICATION NO - SURNAME, FIRST NAMES - XXX (initials of VO)
Attach the Scanned Bio page of renewed passport, PCC and RPRF Receipt.
Add a note in the body of the email, stating the attached documents, and requesting acknowledgement.

Write the following in the body of the email:

Respected Visa Officer

In reference to your letter dated xx/xx/2015.
I am hereby sending the following documents for myself and xxxxx, as attachments to this email.

1. Bio Page of renewed passport (for update).
2. Police Clearance Certificates for (country name).
3. Right of Permanent Resident Fee Receipt.

Furthermore i also did my medicals as advised on xx/xx/2015

Your acknowledgement will be highly appreciated.

Keep it short and to the point.
There are no problems for PPR, as long as you don't delay it.

Guys I got DM and PPR at the same time but sent my passports to the Chc on the 6th October and the vfs status still shows it " IN processing " i mean the passport is in processing at the consulate. Just a bit apprehensive is it ok because it has been almost 4 days and they haven't sent the passport back!'NDVO

Hi all...feels lik bein home...gettin back to forum...i was actually kinda settlin down at canada last two mnths.it feels good to be here...my kid is havim good school....and thankfully i got job within my own field after two mnths of arrival...so there was nothin aa such...its was just good thought n patience tht has brought us here...so wish u goodluck everyone.


btw i got pr cards for us...but not for our kid who is 7 yrs old ...we r kinda confused how will he travel in n out of canada without his PR cards ?? Experts plz enlighten...
