By god's grace today my wait is over for PPR.
Thanks to all the forum members and congratulations to all who got PPR today.
I raised CSE yesterday and got PPR mail today.Its exactly one year since my app filed and I have mentioned the same in CSE.

MY best wishes for guys who are waiting for med/ppr.

Thank you guys your replies are consoling.
The email address specified was attorney's and he claims confidently that it was never received.
He had sent an email to CIC stating it was not received , he advised that I should hear back in 30 days .
Do you think I should wait for 30 days , look for result and then apply for express entry, or start now itself?

And I am following this posts for long, I see lot of ppl stating that they did not receive medicals or next calls. For those please follow up , dont loose like me

Keep fingers crossed and apply for express entry as well.

Guys,

I am a July 30 2014 FSW1 applicant . Want to share my sad story and seek your expert advice .
I had received my PER NOV 2014 and ECAS had line update "We started processing your application" by Jan 21 2015. Then on there was no update . And I was patiently waiting till this week.
I did apply for GCMS notes last month and haven't got yet.

Two days back my attorney received email that my application was refused because CIC HAD ASKED FOR MEDICALS/CLEARANCE AND RIGHT TO LANDING FEES ON FEB 19 2015 .
Since this was never submitted , CIC cancelled the application .

However the email from CIC, nor their reminder email was received . Funny part is the ECAS online status never updated and only this monday it showed "Medical instruction required " line.
Our Attorney had sent for reconsideration saying CIC email was never received.

Why would CIC rely on email communication , even if its worth why cant ECAS show correct update status. All these incidents triggered only after i applied for GCMS ???

Please can you guys advice me on the following
How long it takes to re-open the case? Is there any probability of getting it ?

Same thing happened few days back with an applicant and he took legal action for that. The court put penalties on CIC and instruct them to make sure that such things should not happen again. After that CIC follow 6 line method on ecas. You have option to take necessary action.

We started processing your application on January 21, 2015.

The below status was updated on Sep 28 2015 .I was confused as the dates mentioned were Feb 19

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on November 25, 2014. The New Delhi office may contact you.
We sent you correspondence on February 19, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
We sent you medical instructions on February 19, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Then attorney received email that it was cancelled on Sep 30 2015 and today following line was updated

We sent you correspondence on September 30, 2015 about the decision on your application.

ECAS status was not updated until this monday . Can this be provided as a point towards re opening the case. But I am not sure how to prove this.

Hello ShirSri,

Before commenting on your case, Are you sure you haven`t received Actual Medical request on Feb,

1) If VO has sent you MR mail and it was gone into spam mail of your Lawyer.
2) If you really haven`t received MR mail in Feb, you have a move legally against CIC.

But make sure and double check with your Attorney did he received mail in Feb and ask him to check his spam mails.

Hi Folks,

I have thank god received PPR for Abu Dhabi. I have a question, I am working in Abu Dhabi, but my dependent is in Pakistan.
The PPR states that I should submit both passports together. Is their a possibility that me and my spouse submit the passports at different dates, since my spouse is coming to Abu Dhabi in a week's time and I may need to travel soon, so I want to get the stamping done before her.

Is their a way out?

I doubt your attorney is not telling you the truth.... May be i am wrong

Alhumdulillah got Decision Made just today checked my Ecas

Medical received line not updated yet. Still got decision made. meds done on 5th sept.

is this a good sign?? if yes then when can i expect PPR req.

It is positive for sure. Congrats. I also got same thing. DM on 01/10/15 on ecas. Mine also medical received line was not updated. I did my medicals on 18 sep. How many lines on your ecas..?

Thanks..no the medicals received line is not updated. 6th line got updated as "We sent you a letter on 29 Sep, 2015. I don know what does this mean. If it is PPR, than I should receive it in few days.
