Yes i discussd wid my doc nd he said its ok to do it nd no risk.shield protector covers d baby and doesnt harm.d xray will b done for chest only.if its harmful den why dey have made dis shield? :'(

Hi friends need your advice regarding height mentioned over visa ,,,,,,

My spouse height mentioned while applying and notified during passport submission was 162 cm, whereas it is mentioned 159 cm in visa,,,,
My child height mentioned while applying was 106 cm, notified during passport submission as 111 cm, whereas it is 106 cm in visa


Should I email new Delhi or Warsaw, ,, or it will not pose any problem, ,,
Anybody landed without any difficulty having similar case..

That's the date when I did my Medicals, and while leaving receptionist said it will be automatically updated to Cic in 4 working days. I waited a week for Ecas update.. But nothing , then on 24th I called the receptionist and asked her did they update? Answer = no, will update in 2 days, called them again = no didn't update, will update today, called them next morning. = no will do today 100% called them in evening same day = yes we just updated. After two days the Ecas tlu added. phew!

bro i see tht u done ur medicals on 14-07-2015 so is tht the date u completed ur meds or the date ur meds where uploaded online by the hosp?

Old pp having valid visa needs to be renewed due to travel validity requirement of six months.
Please advice.

After a prolonged wait of countless days and months, happiness came knocking my door last night when my consultant forwarded an email, I now have received Medical Request, RPRF and COPR, needless to say it restored my faith in hope. My timelines are as below:

App date: 4th June '14
PER: 1st Oct '14
2nd Line: 24th Nov '14
TV: 30th July '15 (no verification done with employers)
MR: 12th Sept '15

ECAS shows:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 4, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on November 24, 2014.
3. We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on October 1, 2014. The New Delhi office may contact you.
4. We sent you correspondence on September 12, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Hope the rest of the process is hassle free and steadfast.

Congrats and do not worry i also submitted passport without any pictures as vo didn't ask for it...do as per mail instruction, you will get your visa soon...

I have received Medical Request along with RPRF. I have not been asked to submit PCC again and neither photographs are not asked to be submitted. Only photocopy of passports of bio pages. Whereas I have seen that mostly members have been asked to photographs also. Kindly comment

Thanks God. I Have finally received CORP and visa stamped passport back from Islamabad today. It took less than a week from date of passport submission.

Thanks to all forum members; without which i couldn't have managed to get through the whole process which took almost 14 months from date of application sent date.

It is better to get the passport renewed and attach the old one.
With a stamp in the new one stating "previous passport cancelled and attached as bearing valid visa"
I have used this for some other countries.

Apart from this, i think those who have gone through this procedure may be able to guide you with CIC policies.
Hope it helps.

International travel validity is that ur pp should be valid for a min. of six months.
But the ques is: if pp is renewed, will the visa need to be re-stamped in the new pp?

Better check with ur VO.

I found that 3rd line usually is medical results received. But my 3rd line and 4th line appeared quite different today:
Permanent Residence

5.We sent you medical instructions on March XX, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I sent medical results in march itself. Then I received a letter from CIC for additional medical tests in Apr. I completed those in may.
In my status on CIC website, first two line was there since march and from line 3 to 5 got updated today.

Can you please suggest, if its normal? I didn't received anything since i completed requested tests in May.
It has been more than a year, since my case is in progress. I am loosing hope.

Can you please provide your expert advice what to do at this point?
