Hi Guys..

I am coming to this forum after couple of months... Well I am planning to land in canada this weekend through Detroit-- Ambassador Bridge.. I will just go on Saturday and come back on Sunday... So, actually I am just going to complete the landing formalities. I will be driving a rental car. I guess that wont be any issue at Border.
I just have a question.. As I am just going and coming back in one day I dont have to fill the B4 Form for goods I am taking with me at the time of landing.. All my goods will follow later when I will plan to settle permanently..So, do I need to fill B4A form only??
Anyone who just went for a day or two to complete landing formalities please answer..

Hi all,

I did medical on 5th of May. I saw medical results have been received as my second line

But today it was replaced by processing started processing your application on 31st March. And medical results have been received as 3rd line.

I was waiting for ppr for more than 3 months from cvo .when can I expect ppr

Dear Friends,

Collected Passport from VFS Dhaka today at around 3:30 PM with maple leaf stamped visa along with two copies of COPR and few other information sheet...journey of 343 days, 16 hours, 50 minutes ended at that moment, i was happy and excited but when i came down and took a rickshaw towards office it was raining like hell so instead of enjoying the moment i was busy protecting the envelope which contained the COPR...but all in all i am happy that the worrying and tension has came to an end...my tentative flight date is middle of march 2016 and destination city till now is Calgary...you can see my timeline in left panel...

i will not stop visiting the forum, so if i can help anyone in any way i will be much obliged, some of you already have my cell no so you know how to reach me for rest i will try to reply to your queries with my limited knowledge within 24 hrs...

i pray and hope that all of us will meet one day in a get together in canada, till than all i can do is to pray and wish all the best for all of us, may god fulfill all of our wishes and dreams...

It says we started processing your application on February 10,2015. Which also happens to be my AOR date. i got my Proof of funds request and PCC request on 1st july . Fingers cross for Medicals and RPRF

What is the process after you receive a request for passport and 2 photographs to be sent within 30 days ...

Once you receive Passport request (PPR). You will need to send the following within 30 days to Visa Office

• Printout of the Passport request email
• 2 Photos as per the specifications mentioned in the email
• Passports

Many many congratulations june17th2174. I can understand how you must be feeling all this while. The only thing I didnt understand why they gave the visa expiry date as 6th Oct... Could you think of any reason? Its like they delayed your case by mistake and now they wanted to rectify some error on their part,...

I had applied for canadian immigration for FSW2014. These are my details:

Appln recd: Dec 11, 2014

PER: Feb 28, 2015

Processing started: May 28, 2015

Medical Request: June 18, 2015

Decision made: Aug 20, 2015

My file shows three lines of update:

1) Your application was received on Dec 11, 2015

2) The processing started on May 28, 2015

3) Medical results have been received.

However it does not show the 4th line update. The application status has already changed to "DECISION MADE" and there is no e-mail for passport request. I have not received any email saying anything about rejection. How should I take this as: POSITIVE or NEGATIVE. I am quite tense right now. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
