They will use the same photo which you gave with your passport in PPR stage and put it on your COPR, further the same photo in COPR will be used to issue PR Card.

If your photo does not match the PR Card photo specs then you can take new photo as per PR card photo specs and give it to the Immigration officer during landing formalities. The immigration officer may or may not accept your new photo but there is more chance that they may accept it.

Thanks, I guess they will use the same photo on COPR to issue PR card

Hi , guys can you please help me with something , I received a request for my R.P.R.F and Medical exam on the 27th of July and got my medical exam done on the 29th of July and the hospital where i got the medical done is e-enabled medical center. I checked with the hospital and they told me that sir,you medical reports were uploaded on the 4th of August and in the mean time i was expecting a Third line update that " your medicals have been received" but instead i got a line updated that " we sent you a correspondence on the 27th July and requested the documents. If you haven't sent the documents please send them as soon as possible." Can you please suggest me that why has this kind of a line been updated,

Please help super tense.

We are a family of 4(Me,husband and 2 children).I alone had applied for FSW 2014 in Sept 2014.I received medicals last wee.

In the they asked PCC for me and my husband and medicals for entire family.

Why did they ask PCC and Medicals for the rest of them when I am the only applicant applying?????????

Please your urgent inputs as my children dont have passports and I have to plan for them...........

As per CIC rule, Non accompanying family members of Skilled worker category applicant also have to undergo a medical examination.

Hi Seniors,

This is some thing urgent. I am a New Delhi applicant and I have received Visa and COPR, and going Canada in Sep 2015. I need to ask

1. Do now-a-days any certificate from Income Tax department (India) is required before leaving country?
2. I am going along with my wife, a 11 years old son and my mother, How much CAD or USD I should carry with me? and
3. Do I need to have valid receipt of forex from Western Union or some Bank from where I purchase dollars?

Please reply with your valuable suggestions.

Bro my case is being handled by a consultant and i spoke to them and they told me rest assured sir everything i.e the Tracking sheet {the one we get after the medical procedure is over} has been sent and the receipt of the rprf has been mailed to them , its just a reminder from embassy . Moreover i confirmed with the hospital; they told me that my medical report has been uploaded. I hope everything is good then ?????

Also, please read the mail you received on 27th July along with RPRF & medical request. If they have asked some additional docs like PCC, some Schedule A again etc, they maybe referring to this set! Please inform them accordingly!

WE NEED SOME URGENT INFORMATION

WE have received our Temp PR valid until Feb 2016 , We need to land before FEB 2016 to get our 5 YEAR PR card AND we are doing our landing formalities this MONTH and will return back to UK . Now the question i have is , We are not sure what will be the start date ON the PR card, is it 5 Years from the date we have landed in Canada to do the Formalities ? OR The date we have received our Temp PR ? - This is very important for US any experts experience would be very useful. I have to be on site on a JOB in a different country so would like to make a decision depending on this . So anyone who has already got their PR card holders help will be appreciated THanks in advance

To maintain PR status one has to stay 2 years ( may be with breaks) out of 5 in canada from date of landing on PR visa.

The correspondence on July 29th was:
Dear Applicant,

We note that your passport or that of your dependant(s) will expire soon. This may affect the validity of your permanent resident visa(s).

We strongly recommend that you have the passport(s) renewed or the validity extended as soon as possible. Once this has been done, please return this letter to us with a photocopy of the biographical pages and the page showing the validity of the passport(s), by e-mail.

I sent them a scan of me and my wife's passport page by email on August 7th. Please help me. Do they want something else or should I send the email again?
