Are you sure visa expiry date will be 1 year from medicals date?

Medicals date of primary applicant or of last member of the family? Like my new born kid underwent medicals in May 2015 so visa expiry for all of us will be May 2016?

In my case they have given as per medicals date of primary applicant not considered new born child medicals date.

Yes.

Visa expiry date will be one year from the date the first person in ur application underwent medicals...Think of it logically-> the Visa Validity dates have to be the same for all members of an application...Now obviously, the Visa cannot be issued till May for all, since ur Meds validity expire in March...

Hi Guys
Need advice on the below.
I was working as Procurement Manager ( points claimed ) and now I have joined as Senior Sales Engineer in different company..
I have done my medicals 30-03-2015 and file is stuck-up with criminality check for months ( as per gcms notes )
my query is

1)
I already informed them about my resignation from the previous company.
But, did not inform them about my new employment
Do I have to inform CVO about it?
Will there be further delay if I inform them?

2)
Will there be any negative thoughts in the mind of visa officer as I have joined as Senior Sales Engineer where as I was working as Procurement Manager

Pls advise guys

Hi All :)

Hope u people having fun.
Want to know can I submit my spouse's birth certificate issued by hospital to visa officer?
Thanks and BR

Along with this you can also submit secondary school certificate if it has your spouse name, date of birth, and name of Father or mother .CIC accepts this in lieu of birth certificate. Hospital certificate can be supported by a affidavit as it will not have your spouse name.

Dear friends,
I have received my PR visa stamped passport and planning to fly by late September as ticket prices are a little lower then.

Please let me know whether I need transit visa if there is a stop over in any US airport before the connecting flight takes me to Toronto. If yes, how much will it cost?
If the stop over is in the UK, will I need a UK transit visa?

Request for an answer asap. Thx a ton.

regards,
Kishcanada
For USA you will need a transit visa. For UK it is not required, There are many flights ,select non-USA flight and keep things simpler.

You need to advice them of any changes in your employment.. Let them be informed about your new job.. I am sure at this stage informing them will not affect your application process. One of my friend had a same case, he resigned and joined a new company after Third Line Update (Medical Received), he informed them and emailed his relieving letter and joining letter.. They dint ask him any more details, after few weeks he received PPR.

Change in position will in no way have any wrong/bad impression. Its quite possible that you work as a manager in one firm (small/local firm) and than work as only an engineer or sr. engr. in large multinational company. The only thing they look after is one year full time work in position in the NOC field which you have applied. Looking at your timeline your eligibility assessment is already done and you are at last stage of getting ppr. So don't worry about this, just keep them informed.

Why dont you pay RPRF by credit card and send them the confirmation receipt. There is a CIC weblink which will lead you to the payment page. Search within this forum and you will find the link for sure. This is a much more convenient method used by most to make payments.

Winter lasts from mid-Nov to March....Sep and Oct are cool and pleasant actually...A bunch of ppl (including me) are planning to land in Sep...:)

If ur going for permanent landing...it's advisable to go in early Sep, to give yourself maximum time to settle down and adjust to the chilly conditions...

Or else, you can go in the 2nd half of March (I'd not advise this since there would be mere days left in ur Visa validity)

You can check the Historical Weather averages here->
