This is my first post in this forum!

My medical got updated on 29 May 2015 and I have upload my Permanent residential fee and Passport on 1st June 2015. Since then I have been waiting... My status is IN PROCESS.....any advise for me

Hello Guys,

Finally after ages there is some momentum in the application. I got a verification call from NDVO a while ago. A lady asked me my DOB my present employment and previous employments. She asked about my roles and responsibilities, whom i was reporting into and who all were reporting into me. I fumbled a bit in giving all the names (which is what I am tensed about). Rest all the questions were answered appropriately. But through out the call I was nervous, I am sure she must have gauged that. Anyway, I am happy to know that they haven't entirely neglected my file.

Any idea how many days will MR take now??

I got my verification call at my office on 17-07-15 but no update after that.

Dear All

What If the NDVO call us and we did not pick the call may be due to busyness or our phone was somewhere else and we missed the call.( we obviously do not know there number so we never know whether we missed their call)

Will they call repeatedly until we pick or they will mail us ?

Im my case i got a call from VFS and they said PPs are ready to collect. Also time to collect is between 2 PM to 4PM.

If you are retrieving your passport in person, you must bring with you:

1. The original acknowledgement slips provided to you by VFS Global when you deposited your application at the Canada Visa Application Centre
2. Your original National ID card or other official proof of identification containing a photograph
3. A copy of your photographic ID

If you plan to use a representative to collect your passport on your behalf.

1. The original acknowledgement slips provided to you by VFS Global when you deposited your application at the Canada Visa Application Centre.
2. You are requested to provide Individual authorization letters, signed by the respective applicants.
3. Representative original National ID card or other official proof of identification containing a photograph.
4. A copy of your representative photographic ID

Guys !!! How this group has evolved !!

Nice to be back though for a short time. Really not finding time due to hectic schedule and also facing connectivity issues as I am away from home for a while now.

Accessing the forum after almost 3 months time. Pleased to inform that with Gods grace and the good wishes of all of the forumites, I finally got the PPR on 23rd july and DM on 28th july. My consultant conveyed the PPR mail to me just yesterday (unfortunately I had gone through a consultant where almost all work was done by me itself). Booked flight tickets for 15th Sept to Toronto.

Application date as per me : 2nd Sept 2014
App date as per CIC recd: 20th Oct 2014
DD encashment : 23rd Dec 2014
PER : 20th Jan 2015
AOR from Warsaw : 9th Feb 2015

MR request : 15th April 2015
TLU : 18th June 2015
PPR : 23rd July 2015
DM : 28th July 2015
Flight to Toronto : 15th Sept 2015

Are you sure PP collection timing is from 2-4 pm.

On VFS website, it says that timing is 9am-4pm.

I need to ask, my Ecas showed only two lines, first one :we received your file, and seconf line: medicals received this is since two months ago.....
Then I was asked to submit additional documents and i did last week, they sent me two days later that one of my documents was not right and have to resubmit it and gave me another 60 days to submit it. Anyway, now my ecas shows my second line as: we started processing your file on july 25, which is the same date when they sent me an email to resubmit a document. . And now medicals received is third line...

Is this normal ? I mean does it make sense that they only started processing my file last week ? Although they asked me to submit documents like two months ago.. I thought they already opened my file back then...

Your number will be blacklisted . Just kidding

At first instance if you don't lift the call they will try to reach you again. Alternatively, they will try to send an email seeking for further clarifications or for an schedule interview. No visa office will close your file with these silly reasons of not lifting the calls. You will be given fair chance (fairness letter) to justify your reasons or circumstances leading to any doubt. It is highly impossible that no file would be rejected unless there is high level of misleading or misappropriation.

Keep calm and everything would be good on your file. Best of luck brother.
