I have PM you. Raising CSE at this stage is too early for you. CSE is putting up a query at CHC directly. As I said VFS and CHC are different. CHC for stamping now a days takes time of around 10-12 WORKING DAYS. Expect it within a day or two. In case it goes beyond July 8, you may opt for raising a CSE.

Landed in Toronto with my husband on 21/6.Travelled with Finair from Delhi. Booked 4 additional bags-total 6. Carried $15000(4500 in cash and balance DD).Got phone in canada,opened bank account.Applied Sin no(counter at airport was closed when we landed).Staying with a friend.Hunting for accommodation where public transport is available nearby. yet to apply for driving licence. Shall hunt for job next week.

Yeah its really frustrating...I also feel the same that we all who are stuck after second line update are at a Loss, we applied early, have received eligibility too, and took all the necessary steps to ensure that we fulfil each and every conditions set forth by CIC, and what do we get??

A long waiting period with no way of knowing what these people are doing with our files...

Dont be frustrated buddy...have faith ...its better to be late then never

Hey guys...

First of all i would like to thank you all for all the information that everyone posted here..it was of great help. I have been a regular follower of the forum but i was not a member earlier. I have completed my whole process and there are some of my experiences which i would like to share with you all which would actually benefit those i believe who are still waiting for their 3rd line to get updated or waiting for their PPR.

Application sent on:- 04/08/2014
Received application on:- 11/08/2014
Received PER:- 02/12/2014
File processing started on:- 11/02/2015
Received Medical request on:- 28/02/2015
Medicals done on:- 04/03/2015
Medicals sent on:- 15/03/2015 (as told by the medical centre)

After this i was waiting for my 3rd line to get updated, march got past, April too and then May as well. I called my consultant they said its normal because the embassy people are under pressure as they have to clear so many other applications too so its normal if they do not update the 3rd line however they suggested me to wait as they said that it takes 2-3 months to get the passport request after the medicals are done. After being patient for long i thought that there can be a possibility that they could have forgotten to process my file. SO PLEASE PAY ATTENTION NOW. On 1st JUNE 2015 i emailed them at delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca not asking them about anything but intimating them about my situation very briefly along with my name and application number and on NEXT DAY when i checked the status... MY 3RD LINE was updated. THEN on 9th JUNE 2015.. I AGAIN EMAILED THEM asking them briefly about the time it takes for the completion of the process AND on 11th JUNE 2015 i received my PPR along with DM on the status... ON 12th JUNE 2015 i submitted my passport to VFS... ON 15th JUNE 2015 it was forwarded to canada visa office in delhi and it was dispatched on 22nd JUNE 2015 and TODAY i have received the PR VISA ))) CONGRATULATIONS BUDDY...

Hi can you please share ur experience about british airways flight. i am travelling via british airways delhi - london - toronto end of august. how was ur experience at heathrow airport, i have only 100mins stay. how much time it took during transit.

I have received an email from NDVO today. It states that the the immigration officer is not convinced about about my employment. he states that the managing director of your company knows you but other staffs did not know you and they did not showed the proof of attendance and salary record.

The immigration officer had mailed me to provide a verification of explaination within 30 days in writing. so what should I provide ? I am the genuine employer of that company and I am confused what should I submit for the verification of immigration officer's report. please HELP me .

It seems that there was a physical verification or verification telephonic call at your work place. The question is that why the other staff did not answered positively to the verification. if you are a genuine employee than there are plenty of things to prove your employment. You can send them your attendance records, salary slips, bank statement in which your salary is credited, identity card etc. The question is that why the other staff did not showed the attendance record and salary record. you should check with your colleagues that what was the matter. than you can send the above documents to your VO with a covering letter explaining about your situation or confusion if there was any.

Same here. (+) for the useful info. Did you send the email to your visa yourself (using your email) or ask your consultant to do that? And did the VO reply to you by email aside from updating eCAS?

I sent the email all by myself using my own email and i did not inform the consultant about it. NDVO did not respond however i received an automated generated email from them which clearing mentioned that they will only contact us if they require any further documentation and will not inform us about the status. Honestly i only emailed them to intimate about my situation and it worked as they took action on the same. That's what matters so in a way u can say they responded by taking action on my file.
