Dear All I am glad to inform you that i have received my passport with Maple Leaf Printed onto it & also i am glad to tell you that it is all because of this forum which is doing a marvelous job for anyone to get going in this whole process... there is no need to hire any consultant & waste your hard earned money rather than just follow yourself on this forum & i can bet on it that you will surely land up in CANADA your dream destination.

All the steps being takes up & topics are being Discussed regularly over here..... My case got finished in 242 Days from the day i sent my Application to NOVA SCOTIA .... Anyone wanted to have an idea regarding the timeline can have alook towards the Left hand timeline of my case.....

I would like to thanks all who helped me in this Forum to get information & also to the people who have really created this wonderful forum to make this really happen.......

Hi Seniors

My VISA expire date is 29-2-2016. Can i enter any time before expire the date? like can i enter first week of Feb,06 or do i need to enter 2 or 3 months early . Plz advise. Thanks

You can enter anytime before visa expiry date. My only advise is don't push your landing to the very last minute like Feb 3rd week or 4th week. Immigration in itself is a difficult phase and you would be making harder for yourself

Hello,

I Already received my visa. Im planning to land next month. I'm just wondering about MMR and flu vaccine. I'm a resident here in UAE with Philippine passport. I haven't received any instructions with regards to the mentioned vaccinations even when I had my medical here in UAE. Do I have to do it? I only have a month here.

I do not think there is a need to do that unless there are specific instructions sent to you from VO or CIC.

It seems Colombo VO is bit slow in processing. Following is my time line,

Application received @ cic: 22 Oct 2014
PER: 17 th jan
AOR: 9th March

Waiting for 2nd line updates.... Its more than 3 months from AOR and almost 5 months from PER...

does anyone know if a person lands around 26th of a month,does those 4 remaining days count as a whole month for the insurance or would it be from 26 th of a month to next? It takes 3 months for the insurance after landing so I am just curious.Thanks all

KLM is good. It would mean that that particular flight is a codeshare flight which would typically be the manner in which airline advertise those flights.
Suppose you buy a ticket from KLM for a flight from say New Delhi to Toronto. You would have to catch two flights from say Delhi to Amsterdam and a second one from say Amsterdam to Toronto. Then chances are that the first flight would be operated by KLM with their own aircraft and the second one would be operated by Air Canada or any other company. Codeshare agreement allows airline companies to advertise each other's flights in their own names rather than their partner's names for that particular journey. So, if you bought the ticket from KLM, you would get the ticket in which both the flights would be mentioned as of KLM when in fact the second one would be operated by another company and KLM just uses their name on the second flight too, just to market the flight as a single one. In the ticket , if you look below the second flight name, it will be mentioned that the flight is operated by Air Canada or Air France or any of the other companies that partners with KLM. The second flight is basically not of KLM, but a separate individual flight but since we are buying a ticket through KLM and KLM wants to provide a route from New Delhi to Toronto on a single ticket, they have partnered with the second airline company so that KLM can use their flight to transfer the passengers who wants to go to Toronto from Amsterdam where it's first journey ends.

I had sent my passports to NDVO on 26th May 2015 and it still has not come back. It's been like 19 days or so.I see from your timeline that you had received your stamped passports back after 20 days or so. Was curious as to whether this category 2171 which also happen to be mine is always the one which happens to move at snail's pace or not. Most people have received their passports within like a week or two the most.

Nah, time taken for stamping is less nowadays...like u have seen sk's example...Am sure u will get it soon...Wish u had sent by VFS though.....Would have been easier to track....

For Ontario, it's an exact three calendar months from the date u land...For ur example, coverage will begin on 26th of the 3rd month..See here->
