Hi bro.

My timeline is as follows..

- application has been received the early of August, 2014.

- at the middle of April, 2015, visa office(Manila) asked additional documents: current status history, FBI criminal records check, police history document.(there was no problem in those documents) => I prepared all and sent them to the visa office at the beginning of May..

Since submission of the additional documents to the visa office, there is no progress.

I once emailed VO to query the schedule of MR, but got the simple reply saying just wait more..

Any advice?

Just got my passport with visa!!

Wanted to thank everyone for all their help with the queries.

For the people who remember my issue, or are having the same issue:

I live in Dublin, Ireland but my visa office was NDVO so I got requested for a transfer of my application to London visa office after I got PPR, as the Canadian immigration matters for Ireland are looked after by LVO.

The response rate by both NDVO and LVO was unbelievable. I raised a case specific enquiry with NDVO and they issued me a new PPR to submit at the London office on the next day. I submitted my passport at the London office on Tuesday, and got notification for collection on Thursday - less than 2 days! Really impressed by their efficiency.

Nevertheless, good luck to everyone on the forum. The plan to travel to Toronto in September to get the PR card, and then return to Dublin. Planning to hopefully move within two years, only exception being that I fall deeply in love with Ireland.

It's been a month since your additional document submission, which is not something too unusual on this forum. When they tell you to wait, just wait as they are still working on it. If they already failed you, you wouldn't have to wait anymore. So waiting is painful but means you do have a chance. So, don't you worry so much. 8)

Hi Everyone,

My Application was received by CIC on 10th Nov 2014 and got the second line update on 14th April 2015. Recieved MR on 6th may and then Medical Recieved on 2nd June 2015. My case is with Warsaw Poland.

Can anyone tell me how much should be the turn around time for the Decision Made status or PPR.

Urgent help required from seniors
iam genuinely asking this on behalf of my friend who is in US right now...she got her ppr todays from CPC vo n she is 3 months pregnant...so she is confused that she should inform vo about her pregnancy or not...
she is planning to move to canada in august 1 wk n she has her due date in November

Buddy ..

If you ask me she does not have to Inform VO now as she had already got her PPR and if she is planning to move by August 1st week.

If she has no plans moving before november, only then ask her to inform VO. Else, move to Canada by August 1st week and the child born will be a Canadian Citizen by birth.

I had sent my passports to NDVO on 26th May 2015 and it still has not come back. It's been like 19 days or so.I see from your timeline that you had received your stamped passports back after 20 days or so. Was curious as to whether this category 2171 which also happen to be mine is always the one which happens to move at snail's pace or not. Most people have received their passports within like a week or two the most.

when i checked my visa issue date, It was set to 19th May. for others, the visa issuance date is nearer to passport request which is why they have received within a week's time.

How have you sent the passport? VFS or Courier?

I had sent the package by courier and they should sent them back via registered post, i suppose. I have no way to track that thing or knowing the status of that thing and so it's like being in the dark.

I Already received my visa. Im planning to land next month. I'm just wondering about MMR and flu vaccine. I'm a resident here in UAE with Philippine passport. I haven't received any instructions with regards to the mentioned vaccinations even when I had my medical here in UAE. Do I have to do it? I only have a month here.

Dear All I am glad to inform you that i have received my passport with Maple Leaf Printed onto it & also i am glad to tell you that it is all because of this forum which is doing a marvelous job for anyone to get going in this whole process... there is no need to hire any consultant & waste your hard earned money rather than just follow yourself on this forum & i can bet on it that you will surely land up in CANADA your dream destination.

All the steps being takes up & topics are being Discussed regularly over here..... My case got finished in 242 Days from the day i sent my Application to NOVA SCOTIA .... Anyone wanted to have an idea regarding the timeline can have alook towards the Left hand timeline of my case.....

You will receive the passport back by speed post and probably next week tuesday or wednesday
