Just need a quick clarification. Should I be submitting old passport also to VFS for stamping? I am assuming its only new passports. Kindly clarify.

If you have any visa stamped on your old PP's then my suggestion would be to submit the both new and old PP's

Hi buddies,

I have finally booked a KLM ticket to Calgary on 3rd July 2015 from New Delhi. Initially going alone for couple of months to settle down, then followed by my wife and 5 months old son after few months.

Anyone else travelling like me looking for a company?

I also hve a question regarding pof :

Now that I m travlling alone, do I need to carry proof of funds required for single person (around CAD 11k) or do I need to carry pof of all 3 family members (around CAD 18k) even though I m going alone? --- Suggest you to carry PoF for your family members i.e. for 3 members

If I need to carry single person pof, how much do I need when my wife and son are coming? -- carry full amount required for your family members

Or if i need to carry whole pof of CAD 18k while going alone, do I need to arrange for it again when my wife n son are arriving after few months? -- No, since you are the primary applicant hence they need not to prove it again

Would really appreciate clarity on pof as it's kind of difficult to arrange it multiple times. -- Explained above, would suggest either to open an account here or distribute your funds in the form of TC's and Currency ($ CAD)

I'll be landing first (as a PA) and my wife and daughter after a month.

I'll be carrying POF for 3 persons ($18,500).

does my wife also needs to show something while she lands ?

Ideally No as you are the primary applicant. Not to mention she should carry little cash $CAD in hand for the journey.

I recently got married, so I am in process of adding my wife to my application. She is filling out "Additional Family Information", does this include her brothers-in-law (her 2 sisters are married). I bet they should not be included in the application.

You need to submit only new passports. I have already got visa by submitting only Valid New PP
