Is it possible for someone to receive only MR without asking to pay for Right of Permanent Residence fee?

Me too I received only MR. Then I received a request to provide Pcc and I submitted. I did Medicals one month ago and still Ecas shows only second line. I have not received any request yet to pay RPRF.

Medicals could be done at any empanelled physician worldwide...so your husband can get his medicals done at NZ. No requirement of informing the VO. Simply mail him the required forms

MY CHILDREN ARE STUDYING ABROAD AND CANNOT RETURN HOME FOR THEIR IMMIGRATION MEDICAL EXAMINATION FOR ANOTHER SIX MONTHS. I DO NOT WANT TO DELAY MY APPLICATION. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Whenever possible, the same DMP should perform the medical examination of all family members. If this is not possible, advise the visa office that your dependents are abroad and the visa office will arrange to have their medical examinations done by a DMP closer to their place of study. The visa office will forward a copy of the Medical Report: Section A, Client Identification & Summary (IMM 1017) to them, with the addresses of their nearest DMP. The visa office will fill in the tombstone data and affix a photograph of your dependent to the form.
The Visa Office & Number section of this form (IMM 1017) must have the name of the visa office where your application is being processed. The DMP doing the medical examination of your dependents must also forward their complete medical reports to the same Canadian medical office that received your report. Your dependents' medical examination reports will be matched with your file, as the medical report form will carry your file number.

Guys sorry for the late reply but happy to share with you all i got PPR on 13/5/15...was asked to submit PP to Vfs India..requested Colombo VO for Submission of PP in Abu Dhabi on 13/5/15 itself..received approval documents in pdf format on 15/5/15...Submitted PP on 17/5/15 at Vfs Abu Dhabi... ;D ;D
They said it will take 5 days to process..hopefully it should come by Sunday... ;D

Just got an email from HKVO asking our PCCs, hospital birth certificate from my daughter (I only sent the one I got at BR Embassy) AND to pay the RPRF ;D

Should I expect MR to come in the next few days? Does the fact that they already asked for RPRF mean that background check is done?

Hi All,
Today reached to final milestone .... Got my Passport back updated with Maple leaf. Have couple of questions about the Visa and COPR :
1. My son is US citizen, No visa stamped in his passport. I got only COPR document for him. Can some one help if this is expected ?
2. COPR documents(got 2 copies for each member, one with photo and other without photo attached) for myself, spouse and my son all are water marked with "Not valid for Travel". Is it normal ?

I think that both cases should be normal. Perhaps they're still assessing some of the docs you've sent.

I have been notified by visa office to renew my passport, and in the letter they mentioned this is the only item left to finalize the file, What do they mean by finalizing ? does anybody know?

they want to issue you the PPR for which your PP needs to be valid for atleast 6 months . Pls share your timelines.
