Plz help

1. Renewed the Passport of my spouse who is not the Principal applicant. I am sending hard copies of old (with cancelled stamp) and new passports and cover letter.

I want to know, whether I should write the cover letter and sign it or my spouse should write it (spouse have UCI number ) or both should sign the letter.

On the envelope I should write my UCI or spouse UCI or both

plz advice.

2. In this forum one senior member suggested me to send " updated information chart page with your spouse new passport number on it "

I want to know, what is " updated information chart page " is it Generic Application form or something else

Please guide me

hopefully next week will be drenched in PPR's

Its a peak time for NDVO to process other visas. If not next week there may not be a PPR rain until june. Its better to spend time to plan our landing / settlement.

This is where the problem is. I told him my new IME numbers He said they are not being shown with my UCI.

Now when I have been issued PR MEDICAL and the forms but the doctor cannot see it in the system and he only sees my old IME number with my UCI,what steps can I take.

If it's not resolved by tmrw advise u to raise a CSE informing them further....That the Doctor cannot see ur IME No. for ur PR Medicals and u may possibly need an extension to do ur Medicals again....Then go to another E-Med Center ASAP and do fresh Medicals (provided ur new IME No. is visble there)....Nothing is worth taking a risk at this stage even though this seems like an issue in their internal systems and not ur fault at all...

Hi,

You should sign the cover Letter and mention your Application no. in the subject and on the Envelope. The UCI no. of the spouse can be mentioned in the letter content. There is no need to update any form until and unless requested by the VO. Just get the photocopies of the passport Notarized.

Expect it in 30-60 days after 3rd line buddy...Congrats for ur RPRF encashment....At this stage Security and Criminality checks only r pending...which should not take much long but the volume of apps at NDVO pushes back the dates i think..

I am trying to understand how it can push our PPR till June :'(. This notification is from VSF and they are not only partner for Canada but others as well, like USA & Australia. so, VFS's load could be because of other visa as well. If your analysis is correct then really it is going to be horrific

Is Notarization of PP copies mandatory,

I should do notarization for new PP copies or both.

What I understand that the all the photocopied documents shall be Notarized. Only new one....It takes few mins. for notarizing it. Why to take chances....

For me and my wife medical was done on 13th April, till date 3rd line not updated.

I saw your profile and it showed 16 days for you too as well to get 3rd line updated.

Is it normal?

Dont know why there is so much delay when for other people it gets updated in 7 days.
