Hi All, PLZZZ GUIDE I AM CONFUSED...i submitted my application in Sept 2014, original VO ND shifted to CO. I did my medicals.RPRF,PCC and submitted on 31st March 2015. Till last week my ECAS site used to shoe only 2 line:

1.) We received your application for permanent residence on September 23, 2014.
2.) Medical results have been received.

But today when i check it has changes to:

1.)We received your application for permanent residence on September 23, 2014.
2.)We started processing your application on April 15, 2015.
3.)Medical results have been received.

All of a sudden third line appeared!! I am confused what is this line for? It means they started processing my application now? Now what will be the next step? How much time will it take for further? If they started processing now then how did i get my medical request? as earlier it was showing medicals received!!

Damn confused plsss guys some one guide me pls...

SVB,

Its absolutely normal. Earlier your second line was missing which is now correctly updated...

So Cheers n enjoy your weekend.

Thanks arkscsn.
I have waited long my 2nd line too.
Let's see.

Dear Seniors,

Request you to please help to clarify my doubts.

I had received MR+RPRF+PCC request on 25th March. I have sent all the documents to NDVO and they received it on 2nd April. I have sent PCC for India and Statutory declaration instead of PCC for Singapore. Prior to sending the documents, I had sent an email query to NDVO asking if statutory declaration for Singapore will work as Singapore consulate was not ready to provide PCC until I provide document from canada consulate stating that they would not accept Statutory declaration and they would need PCC.

Since I did not receive any response from NDVO, I had sent all the documents for MR+PCC(India)+SD(Singapore). Last Week i received a mail from NDVO stating that I would need to provide PCC for singapore and they have provided all the required forms and documents as required by singapore.

However, my ECAS status still does not show 3rd line update. Will NDVO update 3rd line only when they receive PCC for singapore or as medicals are already done they should have updated 3rd line also.

hey!

I am a november applicant and I have received MR from the Sao Paulo VO. I submitted passports on April 7th. Today the ECAS started showing line 4 - decision made. As there is a national holiday early this week I expect (hopefully) that I will be able to pick them up by wednesday...

Nonetheless... already started working on taking actions on moving...

Good luck to all!!

Hi friends,

I had applied for PR on May 15 and my second line got updated in October end...since then I haven't heard or received any communication from them..I got suggestion on raising CSE or GCMS notes from this forum only and I am planning to go for CSE but I am not sure on the response for it...

Has anyone raised CSE earlier and got positive or quicker response due to it....can people who have sent this enquiry please share their experience so that I can decided whether to go for it or just wait....

You should immediately call the Call Centre in Canada and try to find some info from them. Also, raise CSE & GCMS notes without delay.

All the best.

Dear Amzz..just i have one doubt regarding the same topic..even my third line is medicals received..so wanted to know now will they carry out background check, reference check etc or it must be already done? And moreover do they carry out checks for all or only to suspicious cases?

Background check is done after 2nd line update. Criminality check is initiated after 3rd line update. In case of any suspicion they can do background check in parallel.

Yes theoretically...We have seen ppl get DM faster in Feb/March if they submitted PCC with application...The reason seems obvious, if they have ur PCC on file they can initiate ur Criminality Checks simultaneously while they are waiting for ur MR results...However this doesn't seem to have been the case for all so can't predict...Good luck buddy hope u get it sooner..:)

No 3rd line update is only dependent on Medicals cleared....Hope ur Medicals went ok...

Regarding SG PCC, follow up and try to ensure quick delivery to NDVO...we have another applicant here 'TANSAM' who is stuck for some puzzling reason bcos of SG PCC....It has been directly delivered to NDVO, but not updated as received...And consequently there's a long delay for the applicant...

Hi All,

This is a General Guideline for all....Request Applicants who need to provide PCCs especially multiple PCCs from different countries, start the process early and don't wait for Mail from VO...

If there is a rule for some country that you need an Official Request from CIC to process PCC, then use this Form with a good color printout on Bond Paper->

http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/applications/guides/pdf/PC_LetterA_e.pdf

CIC has predicted our needs and tried to help us with all posible means :)

Yes, But they must have E-medical facility.

Hi,

In my case I got it done through non e-medical and the only doc they provided was the Payment Receipt. I asked if they shall provide some more docs which I am supposed to send to NDVO...but they refused........

Now I am worried :'( :'(

Hi Forumites,

I need to send Medical receipt, PP Bio-pages and RPRF receipt to Canada High Commission, New Delhi. Is there any particular envelope size we need to send our docs in?

Any other thing to be taken care of? Do we need to send any photographs?

Relaxxx buddy...For Paper-based Medicals, the PP is supposed to send over all the Originals anyway..what they have provided you is anyways a copy...It's out of ur hands and it all depends on how quickly the PP submits ur results to VO, so stop worrying u have done ur bit :)....See here->

No there is restrictions on the envelop size. However I will advise to send it in A4 without folding the papers.

No need to send photographs....unless specifically asked by NDVO.
