hi mmdp....

You can get PCC by two ways.. one by Passport Seva Kendra (PSK).. schedule and appointment and go with required docs and original passport. secondly by going at your local police station and forwarding the request to Commissioner of Police through local police station.

I have done through local policestation in Ahmedabad, and was a little headache.. I had to prove that I am not a criminal since i attended age of 18..for my wife i had to go through all police stations where she had lived post 18 years.. big big headache... I therefore suggest go through PSK.

Hi

Does that mean you had to get more than one Indian PCC for your wife?

Friends I think this Interview session would be helpful for our friends going for Interview..
Chill.....Be cool and Calm... answer honestly...everything be fine..Cheers
Myself and my spouse reached the embassy 15 mins before the interview time, completed security checks at the gate and were waiting in the reception area. I was surprised to see no one else there.

The interview officer (Canadian) arrived at the reception area and asked me if I had brought in any documents and to hand them over to him so that he can go through them before the interview. I had taken all the required docs in separate clear case files and labelled properly so it becomes easy for the officer to look for them.

After a few minutes he appeared again and I was asked to walk into the interview room (only myself). He greeted me. He asked me if my wife can speak English too. I don't remember all the questions being asked as the interview went quite fast and finished in less than 30 mins. The following were some of the questions that were asked.

Have you been to Canada?
Do you have relatives in Canada?
In which part of Canada?
What does the relative do?
What does the relatives spouse do ?
When did your relative come to Canada?
Do you know how they migrated?

Asked about my marriage. As I am married to a national from another country
Asked about how I met my spouse
How long have I been married?

Asked about my freelancing work and why I switched to freelancing from a full time job. I said it was because my company closed down.
Then he wanted to know the reason why my company closed down. Told him about the difficulties that the company was facing.
He asked me about my job, what I do. Software or hardware?. He said he is not a computer person and only knows how to operate a computer!.

Lastly he asked me why I wanted to migrate?. I told him Canada has good prospects for the type of job I do and a good forecast for IT jobs in the future.

All in all he was a very jovial, polite officer and spoke very clearly and casually most of the time, and occasionally making conversation about other topics in between. This made me feel at ease and I also responded to him in that manner. I didn't feel like I was in an immigration interview!.

Finally he typed something on his computer and told me that he will take the application further and that I will receive my MR by next week. Other standard background and security checks would be performed as well. All in all the process generally takes about 6 months but could be sooner, so to make my plans accordingly. I asked him If would be able to go before Winter and he said yes you might be able to. He also mentioned he personally didn't like winters and specially moving during winter. Smiley

He returned all my documents that I had given him before the interview and showed me two docs that he said he will keep. (Financial proof document and updated schedule A form) Although my spouse accompanied me as requested in the interview letter, she wasn't called in.

After two days of the interview I received MR email. Haven't received RPRF fee request and ECAS still shows only first line.

I hope this helps anyone who gets interview call as I know how the feeling could be. I felt this was just a routine interview call and fortunate or unfortunate I was picked up for it Smiley. All the best!

SO ALL THE BEST MY FRIENDS..GOD BLESS

Hello Seniors

Thank you so much for your help so far.

I have received AOR mail stating that my file has been transferred to Warsaw VO and I should update them about any new information.

I have recently got married and need to add my spouse in the application.

Could you please guide me about the process?
Could you share the link from where I can download the forms for his application? I tried to search but only online application form is available under Express Entry and no other form could be found for FSW.
Could you please let me know which forms we need to fill for my spouse?

Quick replies would be really appreciated

Thanks a lot in advance.

Best Regards

Has anyone with medical received/3rd line update on or after 20th March received either PPR or DM?

Done Medicals on 30 Mar
Sent RPRF, Passport copies and PCC on the same day, received by VO on 6 Apr
3rd line updated on 7 APR

Applied for PP renewal on 7 APR and got new Passport on 14 APR(Validity of the old PP was till Jan 2016, renewed early - will it be problem, as PCC has old passport number - and renewed just after medicals and third line update)

When should I inform VO about the renewal of Passport. ( Should I inform now, or when I get PPR, at the time of submitting passport for stamping)

What is the correct procedure.

Should I inform by CSE or send PP copies by courier to VO or both

plz tell me the correct time and correct procedure

Thanks a lot

Hi All,
I app-ed from US. CPC-Ottawa. Medicals received Mar 17. RPRF charged earlier in Feb.
Is it normal to have almost two month after RPRF for a decision, for CPC-Ottawa specifically?

Hello Guys....

Me and my husband applied for 2014 FSW program, and our application reached in the office exactly on December 30th, 2014. Since then we have been waiting to hear from CIC. Should we be concerned as its been almost 3.5 months now and our application status is unknown (no notification at all, file number is a secondary thing!). My NOC is 4163 with quite a good profile. DO we need to still wait or should go ahead and mail CIC to get an update?
Please help someone! ???

I advise you to go for express. You may have a chance to be selected in a draw.

We started processing your application on 10th April 2015.

Now I have few questions for seniors and experienced,

1. what does 2nd line update means? Does this mean that verification process has been completed?

2. How many days it will take to get MR after 2nd line update?

My Visa Office is London.

Hello guys,

I received today my request for Payment of Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). I payed online but i don't know if i need to send my receipt by mail or i could send by e-mail. This was the only document that they asked me and on step number 10 says (You must send the receipt to CPC-O. For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais @ cic.gc.ca) my doubt is because the e-mail address is CPCO-Costprecovery.

Any of you payed online and sent receipt by email?

Thanks

As a Forum member advised if no response try Express Entry..its a sppedy process...you could cover the time range....
This opinion is based on my current experience with some friends...do consult some experts and take a speedy action..
