After a wait of nearly 2.5 months I saw the 4th Line update "Decision Made" ;D ;D ;D

I have not got the PPR still though. I read here in posts that it takes 2 weeks.

Can any one let me know how many days it takes generally to return the passports after we send them to VO.

Congrats Indijoe...is your application submission date May 8th or August 5th? Please clarify. Wish you luck for left over process.

Congrats...Best wishes +1...I think ur the 1st DM of the day..Yes PPR can take upto 2 weeks (generally not though u shud get it soon)

For NDVO, time taken for stamping is usually 14 working days or less....though exceptions are there- 2 applicants r waiting for 45 days... :-\

Timeline on the left, it took more than a month after 3rd line update to receive PPR...

I'm not an expert but I can try to answer some queries based on seniors' replies in the forum....

original PCC as requested by them and it says provided, scanned and trashed- This is fine, it means they scanned it for their records and they disposed the physical copy....maybe they don't keep physical copies, only keep electronic records..this makes sense given the volume of docs they receive..this is interesting info...

ECU-PA (Program Assistant)- The Dept. of Lower-level Officers which does the basic eligibility check and the first-round scrutiny of docs at the VO
ECU-EDO is the department where officer picks application, validates it and post MR and RPRF forward it to ECU-RFV (Ready for Visa).
FOSS is the Canadian DB for Immigration where background check is done- if our name is on the db, it throws a flag...FOSS Check clear is good news..

Review of education, employment, residency and travel shows no apparent concern- It means prima facie its all clear, no suspicions raised in VO's mind based on the docs provided (this is a +ve thing)..Now say if you had traveled to countries like Afghanistan concern might have been raised

For ur Medicals,
I think it's not received yet..Sent means they have sent you MR....Check the Outgoing and Incoming Communciations Sections carefully and also check the Detailed Notes Section once at the last few pages to see what the Officer might have remarked on...

Also check out 'nov_2014's posts and the replies once here...Seems he was in a similar situation, his and kid's medicals received, but sposue's medicals not received initially (so no 3rd line) but later he got it after a month->

You need to check the Notes section in the last few pages where the Officer makes the remarks

Since ur Meds r done, pending checks are Criminality, Security, and Final Review....Hence you can see Meds Passed, Criminality In-Progress (they r checking up on the PCCs u submitted) and Security Check is pending

Due date is the date when the Officer will pick up ur file next, and by that time provided all checks are complete, make a Decision on Application

When the 4th line is updated on ECAS, does the outer hyper link which says "In Process" change to "Decision Made" ? Or it would still say "In Process" and we'd find the 4th line inside along with the other 3 lines, after we click on the "In Process" ?

When you click in Inprocess inside it after third line you will have 4th line updated
