Updating this forum after a long time. Very happy to share that I have finally booked tickets for me and my wife for canada I have been able to successfully land a job by giving remote interviews. visa office: London
only 1st line update: We received your application for permanent residence on September 16, 2014
PER email:31 dec 2014
pictures resubmit request email from London visa office: 10th feb 2015

i have sent the pictures. but have not heard anything ever since.

what is going on with my application in you humble opinion? when do you think there will be any activity on my application? is there any way that i can request application status? wht would you have done if you were in the same situation as i am? it has been more than 3 months from the pictures resubmit request email from LDVO.

1) RPRF is $490 CAD per adult - Yes you can send it one DD or two seperate DD's. I would recommend using one
2) You can courier it

Every morning I checks my email and ecas status and I get only disappointment. This waiting time is killing me... it's been 70 days after 3rd line... Ndvo wake up and shower us ppr, dm, mr...

I have sent my additional documents related to my new born baby on 21st April n also paid the fees for my baby 150 CAD
my last update was on 30th oct so when can i expect a MR from NDVO, this month 21st May or Next month
Another query i have relating to the background check
I wanted to know whether it would be done during this 6 months wait i had or would it be done after they receive my documents again

Please help me out

Hi Guys
I am writing this while sitting in my hotel room just opp to central library mississuaga toronto. The landing experience for me as straight fwd.
1) Once you land you should go to the emigration section there you can see a separate counter for visiting people . You have to go there and give u r customs form filled (will get it from flight - fill using ur canadian local address... i filled it with my friends address) along with passport. she will greet us and ask us to go to another room which is on the right side. U can see a number of officers there to serve . U have to give passports ,landing papers and he will ask you to wait there and then will call u ask you about any rejection,criminal case against to u ...simply answer there then they will seal the copr and will congragulate u and will inform you that you will receive PR card in 4 to 6 weeks . then you should move to another counter there they will provide you some books ads etc related to settlement then they will take to another counter there also they will give you some books and the will provide you the forms for medical and child benefit scheme. A gentleman will tell you that you can take the sin number from airport itself and he will accompany u to that counter and there the person will ask you some qtns like ur father's first name,dob etc.. answer it correctly then they will provide you a print out with sin number for all. Then you should go and take ur luggage and go to customs there you have to provide the forms of goods carrying and goods will follow list.keep 2 copies of the forms and as u know u should take printouts for all jeweld that also two copies they will give u that papers with stamps on it along with a printout that u have to show while importing other items ... thats it finished... after that you can go to any service canada office for filing medical papers and child benefit scheme application.Thats it enjoyyyyy

3rd line was updated on 21st march. NOC 2133, will check the same for ppl with similar NOC Code. RPRF paid via DD which was encashed around 26 March.

I dont know why people make dd payment when they know it will take time to get encashed &slightly delay the application.

DD payment looks likely the cause for them to park your file for some more time .

Anyways you should be getting your DM/PPR in coming weeks .I would say wait for the next weekend and if you dont get raise CSE asking if there is anything expected from your side you can mention the timelines of your payments and delivery .
