Hi All,

Is there a possibilty to send the medical for myself only and sending it later for my wife given the pregnancy stage. Or it has to be procecssed together for both of us.

It is possible to do your medical now and delay only your wife's. However your visa will expire one year from the date of the EARLIEST medical taken by any member of your family. If you do your medical now and your wife has several months of pregnancy left, and then after your baby is born you not only have to do your wife's medicals you still need to get your baby a birth certificate and passport and update all your forms and send them in and then the VO takes time to process it all, you may end up with a visa with a very short validity or they may ask you do re-do your medical to keep it current. Why not wait so you do not feel like your clock is already ticking.

I ordered GCMS where it says:
Eligibility assessment 1: Due Date: 2015/08/13
Eligibility assessment 2: Due Date: 2015/07/09

Anything to conclude from this?

What I conclude from it is that the Cairo VO sucks. They haven't performed your eligibility assessment yet (though your eligibility was assessed at CIO, it is assessed again at your local VO), and have set target dates of 9 July and 13 August for 2 separate assessments. You should hear from the VO sometime after that. Patience will be key here.

Hi Auto_art.. somewhere in the application brochure or in checklist it is also mentioned that PCC should not be more than 3 months old while sending to VO or to CIC.. If somebody got through or even yours get done doesnt mean someone in future wont get stuck due to this.. As this is the rule.. More seniors can throw some light on it.. !

On page below, it clearly states, PCC must not be older than 3 months when you apply. So the important point to note is the DATE. It is not the date when you send PCC, it is date when you initially sent your application!

Thank you for the response. We can both have the medical done by July week 1 or 2 as we have couple of months of pregnancy left. I am presently in Canada and my child will be born in Canada, do I still need to update the application with my child's details or it will be simply providing my details to the Visa Office.

Dont know whats happening..

Today I received this email from CIO-Sydney.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Regulation 12 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations states that if certain requirements are not met, the application and all documents submitted in support of the application will be returned to the applicant. A review of your application has indicated that your submission has failed to meet these requirements. We have attempted to return your application package to you, however the package has been returned to us as undeliverable.

They have asked for mailing address again.

MY CONCERN IS THAT I RECEIVED PER EMAIL ON 18TH JAN.
THEN I RECEIVED PHOTO REQUEST ON 18TH FEB.
PHOTOS WERE SENT AND DELIVERED ON 24TH FEB.

WHAT IS HAPPENING???

I HAD APPLIED IN TWO DIFFERENT NOC'S
DOES THIS MEAN THAT THE SECOND PACKAGE HAS BEEN RETURNED?

PLEASE ADVICE.

I totally understand.. am not saying you are wrong... But what I read and my consultant told too I shared.. you have not shared full script.. pls see below.. This am just doing so that ppl get the best and correct direction not to make anybody wrong..

The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply.

If your certificate is in a language other than English or French, send it when you apply, along with the original copy of a translation done by a certified translator.

Correct bro!!..So this just means that the date you apply i.e. on the date u first sent ur application to CIC, Nova Scotia, on that date the PCC must not be older than 3 months...

If u send ur PCC at a later stage, all u need to check that-

a. The PCC is valid as per the Concerned authorities' given validity till date (PCCs issued by PSK in India is generally valid for a year, the PCC I obtained from Police Commissioner's Office was valid for 6 months)
b. The PCC is not issued earlier than 3 months before you sent ur initial application....For ex. u sent ur application in end-October (recvd by CIC on 3rd Nov)..so in ur case PCC should not have been issued before end-July...For most ppl sending PCC later,this criteria is easily met bcos of the long gap...Hope this helps

If your child will be born in Canada it will be a citizen. But you still must add the child to your application in the sense of updating your forms, supplying birth certificate and passport, providing updated proof of funds, etc. It's just that your child won't need a visa.

Sorry for the late update. Have been caught up in a lot of work and travel lately and this will continue for some time more.

Got my 2nd line update and MR & RPRF finally. 2nd line update dated 13th April and MR & RPRF email dated 15th april. The ECAS update happened on 16th April and the MR mail also recd on 16th April, India time.

My timelines are as below.

Application recd date as per me : 2nd Sept 2014
Application recd date as per CIC : 20th October 2014
DD encashed date : 23rd Dec 2014
1st Line update : 16th Jan 2015

Upfront meds done : 31st mar 2015
Med results uploaded by Hospital : 3rd Apr 2015

3rd line update : WAITING !!!!!

Yes probably ur 2nd package is being returned....Have u tried to login to E-Cas system? What does it say?
