I am july applicant, I got my 3rd line updated on 10th march, but yet no DM/PPR, Please guide what to do, shall I apply for GCMS if yes how to apply for it?

Hi Amit28,

When I requested my consultant to inquire about the status on my application to the VO last month, those were exactly the message of my consultant:

"Status request within regular processing times can make the officers angry and result in negative handling by them."

However, the consultant still raised an inquiry thru email directly to the CIC/MVO. She forwarded me the reply of MVO, which is still being processed by an Visa Officer, referred to the official timelines of MVO ans requested for our patience.

I also posted this message here when I got my consultant's reply. Still, I raised my own CSE on that same week and GMCS after a month. I always get update from the ecas every day...

Although, it's true that it's adding workload to the VO's but maybe raising once won't really create negative response from the VOs.

I asked my consultant about the extensive delay in MR. Here's the response from them: "Status request within regular processing times can make the officers angry and result in negative handling by them. It also increases the communication load on the visa office, which actually delays the real work on their part. However if you still wish for me to send a status request to the visa office, please let me know."

Now I certainly do not think that any visa officer will get "ANGRY" and give negative remarks or something, at the same time I dont want anything worng to go with my file. Do I ask my consultant to send a status request???

Please provide inputs.

Ah, that's why we have exactly the same words from your request to raise a status inquiry to CIC. We have the same consultant!

Anything more your consultant said about your application processing?

I thought so too. my consultant is Canadavisa.com

Looks like yesterday there were no DM/PPR reported except some TL updates.
Let us wait and see today how it goes Congrats for all - who received updates yesterday!

Thanks for the info...
my concern is medical were already uploaded by hospital. IME no was wrong in the medical form...I called doctor and they said it was uploaded in January only...nothing is pending from their end.
Also regarding PCC scanned and trashed....I sent my pcc in feb and GCMS says it is at desk as file not traceable and later in march I sent my spouse pcc and it says scanned and trashed...how come one person pcc they keep and others trashed?
entire process is getting delayed because of medical in progress status...
now nothing more I can do from my end as medical completion receipt was also sent to NDVO in feb first week...
any other suggestion?

You can raise a CSE, quoting ur GCMS, saying that you have observed they are still waiting for ur Medicals....Whereas u sent it on this date....And attach the Scanned copy of the Receipts/ Emedical Tracking sheet...

I hope in Incoming Communications in GCMS Notes, it shows Medical Receipts received/uploaded on the date Hospital uploaded it/ u sent it...

Regarding PCC, u just need to check whether Criminality check completed for u and ur spouse....If yes no further worries...

Yes! scan them and send as attachments to email.

Yes...Send proof of medicals, and RPRF Receipt (with filled-in UCI, Applicant Name, DOB, etc) by physical courier to NDVO...If PCC was asked add that too...
