Hi,

i received my application number in the Month of October 2014 generated by CIC. Thereafter have not heard anything from CIC For my medicals or PCC. the general processing time taken by Visa Office is 12 months from the time the file reaches CIC ( M \y file reached CIC on June 2014). its almost been more than 1 yr....have sent few mails to Delhi Visa Office also but no replies even after the processing time has exceeded. Any advice on the same from anybody

... As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case...

Does anyone know when VO hires outside agencies for the investigation and when they do it themselves?

dear friends..i got my GCMS notes. Notes are very long of 51 pages...nd very complicated to understand...

however, in asessments head its written that eligiblity, security, criminality check have not started...application assingment due date is 20-june 2015...what doe it mean?? i ordered notes on 21 may 2015...

im 5th june applicant..got PER on 2 oct...i took help of a friend in canada...anything u can say about application assignment due date..

Your file has been transfered to local VO and soon would be assigned to Immigration Officer. At the moment it looks like your file is is in intial stages and has not been viewed by IO. Check last few pages on your GCMS (NOTES section), for more info.

18260 CAD....as per my understanding there is not much difference but if you land on weekday (day time) then advantage is your can apply for your SIN at the airport.

I am very much worried due to my pending application.i applied on 23 June 2014,per on 21 October ,second line updated on 5 dec,visa office ndvo,noc 4011,.my telephonic inquiry was held on dec6 in my past college .then no update till date .when raised gcms,it says selection and eligibility passed from visa office.when asking about my status I got following response
You are further advised that your file has been reviewed by a visa officer and is now pending further verifications.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the verifications are completed, the next steps in this application will be determined and you will be contacted. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.
No further communication yet,very much worried .after one month of this mail when inquired again ,got same email.can any body console me

You have to wait...
Usually verifications done by third parties..
When they will submit report you will hear some positive from vo..
Untill then you can wait...there is no other option...
When you applied gcms ???
