Hey,

i am on student status in Canada. I came here earlier this year, and i have long vacations for 2 months in December - January. I want to visit my home country, during these holidays, but i am afraid it may have a negative impact, or i may be denied re-entry, when i come back to Canada.

My study permit is valid till 2015, and i haven't done any work here in Canada, of any sort. e.g. cash basis. But over the time, my graduation university back in South Africa, has been under severe criticism and maybe blacklisted soon. This part is the most am worried about, what if they deny re-entry on this basis?

Does somebody, has any experience of travelling back to their home country for a month, and then re-entry to Canada? Is there something, i should worry about?
Also, what documents should i carry, while this period of travelling?

Please guys, do read it, and help me with your valuable suggestions. Any advise will be good advise.

Thanks

no problem.. its a multiple visa ... you can re enter canada .. make sure you reach before class start date

Thanks.

What about my previous university at my home country, getting blacklisted soon, thing? Isn't that gonna be a problem?

I assume you have multiple entry visa. So you won't you denied to enter Canada. And no problem if your university gets blacklisted or not as you have already secured a place in a institution in Canada.
